To get the 'teof' option, press the 'temperature' button once you get to the end of all the options (i think the last option reads 'door', so press temp button then)

Thank you, helped fix Mum's oven error. The video is a find after no response from the aftercare phone line. Make sure you hold the ok button long enough, you'll hear a beep, and then good to go with the instruction in the video.😊

Just thought I'd chime in with my own experience as it didn't quite follow the steps in this video (indeed, I restarted several times until I realised). My model is a: SI4 854 H IX which has the pyrolytic cleaning (which I suspect will be hugely important to my experience) and my sequence differed slightly from both the video, and some of the others experiences Scroll to the bottom for my sequence, but this whole story might be of use I needed to follow the same initial steps: IMPORTANT - get that door code first. Oven powered-off at the wall for 30 seconds, then press and hold OK for ~5 seconds, followed by the 4 OK presses, and then pressing OK once more when CONF displays, OK-ing to UI to enter the first part (weirdly, UI and AN already had a code that I was overwriting - maybe take a note of these, just in case). Anyway, once I'd completed this, I was able to press PLAY just two more times, before the display illuminated all the items and activated a continuous beep, which is often taken to mean some form of hard reset for other devices. After this, I hit the PLAY button just two more times before 'door' displayed, locking the door and the touchpad, effectively terminating the procedure :( But, it wasn't terminating the procedure, as following the rewrite of the eeprom, we have now entered the engineering test functions, where each item is being tested beginning with I suspect the room thermostat, as the next item displayed '19c' which was the same as my kitchen temp. I initially didn't realise that I needed to WAIT a few moments for the door and touchpad lock test to conclude before continuing, believing that the door and touchpad locking sequence was terminating my efforts - I had actually given-up following the 4th door lock sequence, this time leaving it on whilst I hunted Hotpoint for a new part, before hearing the tell-tale click of the door unlocking, and seeing a new engineering code in the display. Remember, my oven has the pyrolytic cleaning function, part of which is to lock the door and touchpad when activated. Once this test has concluded, all other items are tested including the fan and light, and a bunch of other engineering codes are displayed before reaching that final 'TeOf' option. ** My Sequence ** • Power off at the wall for 30 seconds (use this time to get the code from the label inside the door) > power on and immediately HOLD OK for 5 seconds wait for the beep > then TAP OK 4 TIMES, the oven shall beep after each tap > when CONF is displayed, HOLD OK until the oven beeps, usually only for one second to access the config menu • Next, in the UI menu, take a note of the existing code just in case and then TURN the KNOB until the first two numbers before the slash from you door label are displayed; a single number is implied to begin with a zero so '8' is implied to be '08', and so UI would read 'UI08' > TAP PLAY to confirm • Next TAP PLAY twice to reach the 'AN' entry, take a note of an existing code, just in case and then enter the second of the door numbers and TAP PLAY to confirm • Next TAP PLAY TWICE > the screen illuminates all the available symbols and a continuous tone is played, WAIT > a number with small 'c' displays, I took this to mean the detected room temperature > TAP PLAY a few more times until 'door' is displayed. The door and touchpad will lock at this stage • WAIT, and WAIT, and WAIT • After a few minutes, 'door' disappears giving way to a new engineering option, and the door and touchpad will unlock. • Continue to TAP PLAY until 'TeOf' is displayed > use the knob to set to 'TeOn' > TAP PLAY to confirm, which should conclude the reset (placing that last major function right at the end of a long sequence where only a few options can be modified, and only allowing it to be set once, meaning that the whole sequence needs to be followed again if you miss it is really sh**ty btw Hotpoint)

I think the video is a little off because the button pressing thing at the beginning took a little time for me to work out how to get "conf". After some faffing about I found "tEof" and managed to select "tEon". After waiting a minute the F03 did not reappear. I turned the oven off, waited 30 secs and turned it on. All solved.

It didn't work for me initially as the steps captured in the video were not enough to get to teof. Unfortunately, I had to buy a repair plan 😔 for an engineer to come who performed a lot more steps than captured in the video. I wish you had atleast mentioned about being patient and go through all the steps even if the sequence didn't match the video.
