Lessons , what you learn building hot rods and modified trucks . Just when you think you have it figured out and another problem rears it's head . Good build J.C. and lady .

J.C . you put so much hard work into the Hot rod hauler What about putting a custom tool box/fuel tank in that space or a crane ??? just putting it out there , we are making lemon aid from lemons I only see opportunity here ....

😁😁😁 After mentioning several times that you need/want to downsize and after already owning two properties full of trucks and parts, buying another truck seems exactly what you need the most.👍👌👏 By the way: I'm just as bad in downsizing too. 😁😁😁 The good thing is, that you will never run out of projects. And therefore we viewers will have the pleasure to watch a lot of your great videos in the future.

I was thinking you'd want the engine further forward. Help to put weight on the front axle. Might help handling?? Going to be a very cool build!!!!

And the plot thickens........ LOL! Go for it JC! As far as powerplants for your hotrod truck......no turbines! I had enough of the damned things in the Air Force. You put one in and I'm out of here. LOL! You do what JC does and I'll be here. Even if it's a turbine. Maybe. Cheers Terry

What happened to Mrs. J.C.’s idea of putting the new engine back under the cab? I understand it’s your deal, but that engine waaaay back there seems like such a waste of very valuable real estate. Love the progress!!

Turn the cooling package sideways, there won't be any natural airflow anyway

well, if you don't like it change it. I completely understand project reversal. can't wait to see the changes.

With that tool box I was expecting you to say 6-7 weeks, maybe even 6-7 months, not 6+ years! Who buys a tool box and doesn't pick it up for 6 years! I'd say you are right that for storage fee's you own it again, so you can sell it on to someone else

A J.C. Smith project that gets derailed and goes an entire different direction? No that never happens. this channel is like watching a movie with ever changing plot twists, don't go a changing. Mr. Smith I'm not telling you anything you don't already know but your wife is a trooper, jumping right in there and as "particular" as you are about things that can't be easy.

Interesting to see if that cab will be turned into the first 4 door COE.

It's ok, it's fine, no bodies perfect .At least you have another option for your hotrod hauler chassis.

Sometimes you like it until you see it. Shouldn't be too bad modifying it again.
