Again Not related to this video, but ,when you mounted the LS in the frame . . . . I may have missed , , what Square body frame to LS motor mount brackets did you use ?
@RustnAway3 жыл бұрын
I used the TransDapt motor mounts and transmission crossmember on it.

I ok have a question which clock position would you say your selector is in at the trans?
@davidjessee77012 жыл бұрын
I don’t know why you had the bottom lever clocked down so low… the direction says at park to put the bottom lever at 8 or 9 o’clock. Had you done that the included rod would’ve been long enough 😮

I noticed that as well :) If he had adjusted the selector adapter 45 degrees to the left, taking the ground as zero degrees (8 o'clock) stock rod would reach it fine.

With that setup we’re you able to shift all the way down into 1st? Was your column set up for over drive ? 3 speed? Does that make a difference? Thanks.

With my s10, it came with a 700r4 so my column was fine for my 350sbc/700r4 swap. Same trans but different bell housing. I'm still putting mine together

What size what the rod that came with kit? My kit came with a 21” rod and it’s still seems to be too short on a 61 c10 with a 700
@RustnAway2 жыл бұрын
I went with the 26” rod
@RustnAway2 жыл бұрын
But did have to cut it down some
