HotS: How To Bruise Sonya

Welcome to my channel, I post a lot of Heroes of the Storm gameplay, but I play many games. Please feel free to request any heroes or builds to me and I will do my best to play it.
Why don't I play ranked? I would love to play ranked more and record it, but it simple takes too long to find a game.

Thanks, I've always struggled to make Sonya work for me. But I've always built into her spin and this AA build makes a lot more sense now.

spin build is really good when it works, but this build is much more consistent.

Great examples of how to be where you should be and when for an off laner. I still find that difficult.

Practice makes perfect, but the general rule is you want to be getting the most xp as safely as possible.

I was looking for recent hots related content, and found your channel. Very good format which is entertaining and people can learn a great deal as you share your decision making, which is what I found a bit lacking with other hots content creators. I really want to get good at this game, so I'll try to hone in on bruiser per your advice.

sonya is also my main choice for bruiser. she is awesome, she can hold initiative play in game cause she is so flexible. she wins most of her match ups, and those she does not win it can often become a real skill trading against a leo or an artanis. she can use different strategies like doublesoaking or doing camps where she shines at. her jump ult also is perfect for short ganks and 5v4 flanks, with so good jump range, dmg and cc. especially if enemy team has a valla, Hanzo, any mage... she is awesome, such a strong girl.

This is what I wish all heroes would be like, lots of flexibility with lots of play styles that can be picked during the game as needed!

The only 3 things personally I don't like about Sonya is her vulnerability to stuns/silences, lack of escape and short range of W and E (if you miss Q on ranged hero, you have no way to dmg him until lvl 10).

Quick tip, as soon as lvl 4 you can use the enemy turret to tank the damage from the samurai and kill it really fast. I always steal all the samurais with the turret.

Great game. That is my go-to build for Sonya as well, though I am a shameless Wrath enjoyer.
