@@luanaastralis9991 they are literally the biggest species by leg span. But thats not why i find them scary. Its the speed and idk it just looks freaky. The spiders i find least scary are tarantulas. Cause they are lowkey cute.

I know this is fun but wasp actually help trees live. Because when a tree is being attacked trees connected with roots send nutrients to help them. When a tree is being attacked by aphids it releases a pheromone that attracts wasp to kill and eat the aphids to make sure the tree lives.

Spiders are ok, I don't like the freaky looking hairy ones. Bees.... I like em, don't like getting stung. Wasps can burn.. when I set their nest on fire in the dead of night. Ticks... Are absolute murder.

funnily enough, i find the hairy spiders a lot less scary than the non-hairy ones. I love spiders but I definitely have arachnophobia, if I'm within a 2m radius of one I get goosebumps. I'm not even scared of being bitten, I just don't like having them on my skin or thinking about having them on my skin.

Fun fact about me: I am terribly afraid of bugs, but not spiders. Which some people can't really wrap their head around lol Also, you're right. Phobias aren't rational, that's the entire problem with having one. I gotta tell that everyone when they find out I have mycophobia (the fear of mushrooms and mold, god damn is that stuff disgusting)

Huh... this actually makes sense in my understanding of fear. In the Magnus Archives the fear of bugs (and mold actually) and the fear of spiders belong to different entities (the crawling rot and the mother of puppets respectively) so... I suppose the Magnus Archives is even better than I knew.

I’m the kind of guy that will just pick up spiders snakes and all other animals an everyone else will just run or stay away as I try to explain that it won’t hart them, that their misunderstood really cool, beautiful and helpful to the environment. As someone who used to be scared of spiders as a kid, let me just say: mosquitoes and centipedes are so much worse in any regards. House spiders usually pick a spot and stay there for the time being. Centipedes just don't seem to ever EVER stop. They're hyperaggressive animals that always seem to feel the need to bite. And there's no better sight than a spider finally putting an end to a mosquitoes nightly reign of bloodsucking terror and letting you finally fall asleep safely. I mean, what is it with spiders exactly that makes them so much more scary to people, than say a cockroach, mosquito or centipede? Is it the number of legs? _Shouldn't that make centipedes the true terror?_ Is it their webs allowing them to appear from above? That's not nearly as haunting as a giant mosquito flying legs spread right towards your face, or a roach suddenly unfolding its wings and launching itself at you like a damn facehugger. Is it because they could hurt you? Name one incident that died to a house spider. I see why this fear is called 'irrational', cause it really is. I understand not liking creepy crawly animals, but when you single out one type specifically is where I draw the line. And just straightup killing them because of their appearance alone is a pretty dickish thing to do. With spiders, we wouldn't even have Spider-Man, I rest my case.

If you were truly Australian though you should know that spiders are way more afraid of you and they like never attack unless your straight-up annoying them or smooshing them. Just stay away/be careful near spiders and keep an eye out in case there's one where your going to put your hand Also, there's an antidote for essentially every bite so as long as you're not going into the middle of the outback and getting bitten you'll be fine.

I play with spiders without harming them but odd 1 is right bees are a bit scary i don't have any against bees but only thing thats scary about them is that they bite and it hurts so much and the bee also looses its life after stinging . so the point is don't get spooked and try not to get stinged . I really like spiders they are really fun to watch when they hunt other bugs. There is almost always a spider on the net on my window hunting mosquitoes.

as an australian I honestly don’t get how we’re deemed so dangerous 😭 most of our “dangerous animals” only attack if provoked and are barely ever seen in urban areas, while other countries have stuff like mountain lions, bears, coyotes etc. right outside your houses.. I’ve only ever seen big/poisonous spiders outside so they’re pretty easy to deal with. half our animals are just big rodents guys
