The monster was not in her alcohol, her drink just had a mutation effect on the existing sea life. Note that Blitzo called her bottle a Beelzejuice bottle, implying that it contains something called Beelzejuice, which is presumably some hell-only drink, most likely produced by Beelzebub.

So if you didnt catch it before, Verosika and her gang are a group of Succubus/Incubus (Females for the succubus, males for Incubus). Except Vortex who is, along with Loona, a Hellhound. Succubus/Incubus are Sex Demons, thats why they were able to make people start making out and possibly have sex on the beach. you could tell who was one because they had the little heart aura coming off of their head. Which is also why Loona wasnt effected by it when that one Incubus came up to her, whom she then punched in the face

They mention the ring of Wrath in this episode, briefly. Verosika mentions Blitzo ditching her and stealing her car, driving to Wrath for shitty horse riding lessons, as Blitzo LOVES horses. Episode 2 takes place in the ring of Greed, where Loo Loo Land is located. Hell is composed of 7 rings, the top one is Pride and that's the only ring former humans are capable of existing in. Hazbin Hotel happens on the same ring, but in a different city, where this show takes place in Imp city. Imps and the other natural denizens of hell such as Verosika are free to travel between all of the rings. Verosika is a Succubus, which are more powerful than and are thus higher on hell's hierarchy than both Imps and Hellhounds. That's how SHE gets to Earth. IMP needs the book from Stolas to get there because Imps aren't supposed to be able to go to earth at all. Succubi however are permitted to in order to do their jobs. Verosika uses her magic to arouse the crowd with a "siren song" as Blitzo accurately describes it. Her other workers go through the crowd and use their magic to close the deal on specific targets of their choosing. Notice the hearts that frequently appeared around them. Verosika constantly has hearts around her when she's singing. That fish was just an ordinary human world fish, and the contents of Verosika's flask mutated it. Blitzo called that substance Beelzejuice which implies it's a magical alcohol (as Verosika is an alcoholic to the point of needing rehab) created by Beelzebub. Beelzebub is one of the 7 deadly sins, it's not specified of which ring of Hell, but potentially some sort of culinary based inventor or cooking enthusiast? Lucifer is the ruler of Pride, however he doubles as ruler of all of Hell since he's the most powerful being in Hell, and is of course Charlie's father. Satan is also mentioned a few times, and is potentially some sort of legal authority, like a judge or even executioner as Moxie refers to Satan when talking about how Verosika would get in trouble for breaking a demon law. If nobody's mentioned this yet, Moxie is voiced by Invader Zim. So that's pretty cool. Moxie is also a huge fan of Phantom of the Opera. You can hear a bit of the music from it playing when Millie is talking about having sex with Michael Crawford, who was the Phantom in said play. Award winning Phantom as well.

Evidence points to Satan being a Ring Ruler, likely Wrath, rather than a figure of enforcement. Moxxie's use of his name in this episode was more of an expletive or expression, rather than a direct implication, i.e. "Oh Satan" as opposed to us saying "Oh God."

@@contemptveyras1665 Well the thing about that is, when those beings are REAL and in the context it's being used here...... yeah it implies they're who you'll be getting in trouble with. Moxie very clearly is speaking as if Satan specifically is who she would get in trouble with. Yes, Satan is obviously a Ring Ruler, he's one of the 7 sins, ALL of them rule a ring of hell, even Lucifer despite ruling all of it. That doesn't mean he can't ALSO be in charge of legal punishment. I mean he most likely even rules WRATH so it would make sense.

I missed the premiere or I'd have told you to take a long look at the parking lot scene and pause at several points. There's a LOT there. -giant white sign on the left-side building reads "Buck you Flitzo" -in the lot there is a ship, a tank and one van that looks a lot like the Mystery Machine - on building is graffiti reading "IMP is a scam" - the IMP van has blood stains on the back bumper In the scene where a line forms at the flier, there is one character from Hazbin Hotel= Travis, the guy with a heart eye whose care Angel Dust exits. Also pay attention the whiteboard or chalkboard in the IMP office in any episode it apepars in, there's often random stuff on it that either pays homage to past issue or shows Blitzo's obession with horses. Case in point, here at 8:22 in your post, has suggestions for horse names

Something I noticed rewatching this and I'm wondering if it means anything: Verosika never actually sees or talks to Loona. Is it possible she would know something about Blitz's past and the circumstances leading to him adopting her?

She walks right by her in the parking lot, Loona's just shy about it cause she's super famous and clearly is a fan of hers. Verosika doesn't pay her any attention cause she doesn't care about her. Hellhounds are beneath Succubi in hell's hierarchy. Blitzo adopted Loona AFTER they broke up, she has nothing to do with Loona. We do know from context clues in episode 7 that Blitzo adopted Loona soon after they broke up though. She certainly knows what caused their relationship to collapse, and she's VERY pissed at Blitzo for breaking her heart, but I doubt she'd know specifically why Blitzo decided to adopt a Hellhound, if she even knows he did.

While Loona was adopted after they broke up, there is very clearly missing context beforehand leading to that adoption and Verosika is one of the only characters involved enough in Blitz's backstory that she might know that context.

@@joelsasmad The context is Blitzo was lonely and decided to. We might get more information on exactly how it went down, but I doubt Verosika knows some big secret. And we don't know she didn't see Loona at all, why would she acknowledge her regardless? Again, she's a higher rank than Hellhounds, AND she's famous. Just because she didn't walk up to her and start a conversation doesn't mean she didn't notice Loona. Even if she didn't, Loona was TRYING not to be noticed, that doesn't mean Verosika has ANYTHING to do with why Blitzo adopted her. There's NO connection between them, and them not interacting doesn't magically mean there's a connection. Actually the fact she didn't say anything about Loona at all means she probably has no idea she's anything more than just their Hellhound. Verosika would certainly take ANY chance to mock Blitzo, and that extends to his employees, so going after his adopted daughter who is a Hellhound would certainly appeal to her.

HSB you should react to RWBY by Rooster Teeth. It’s this amazing computer modeled anime about a world of I guess you could call them monster hunters and every character is like a parody version of a mythological or fairy tail character. And every weapon they have is part melee (ex. scythe) and part range (ex. sniper). The fight scenes are very good, the story is amazing, and the music done by just a daughter and her dad is beautiful. Also RT loves people reacting to their content so you don’t have to cut it out. If you do get claimed you can appeal for it and they approve it very quickly.
