Fun fact, i bought exactly the same watch ultra and i also bought the galaxy watch 7 44mm for sleep tracking. So 😅i have the ultra for everything during the day, lighter watch during the night. That's give me 365 days a years of battery life 😂

This what is so damn nice and good.........I'm tempted in buying the Gray with a dark grand band. The only bad thing is that you can't get a decent cheap band for it. The Samsung bad is definitely the way to go though, but I work in a warehouse, so I get to bang and damage the band....after the 5th day, I manage to put a tiny, tiny, tiny ding on the bezel, it's not so visible but I can see it, so got a cheap case for it, which I take off when I'm not at work.

@kylestaplins In order to to setup lock you need to goto setup then security and privacy. Inside, the first option is lock type. I set up mine when I setup samsung wallet/pay.

I would ask you to ask the manufacturer why the watch no longer supports Qi charging, but you have to use the charger that comes with the watch in the box. And in any way they justify the price of 700 euros on the European market.

I didn't buy the Ultra for its health features as I bought the Ultra for it's bigger battery just like the watch5 pro. After optimizing the Ultra it should gets 5 days of battery life just like you could with the watch5 pro when it was properly optimized. The Ultra has plenty of potential as it's not just a sports watch.

@@hhadzios Disable apps or remove unwanted apps and their permissions, disable the health sensors and their permissions, and neuter Bixby. Keep the Ultra in battery saving mode unless you plan on using other features. Don't use AOD. Keep the GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi off, and disable LTE. Remember, the Ultra uses Wear OS as it is not optimized, so don't let it drain the battery with features that are not needed.

Hey, I just got the 7 for my wife. The battery has only been lasting 6 to 7 hours! Anyone else experiencing this? I called Samsung help and they told me it will take up to a week to learn your personal habits, and then the battery will last longer.

If it is connected to your wife's phone . Turn off data and wifi. It will last 56 hours. Turn.of the automatic measuring when she isn't working out or needing it to measure it will last a few more hours. If she doesn't need the map, turn off the location in the map app. You will still get all of the services through her phone without the redundancy. I also recommend turning off the always-on display and using the wake-up feature. She doesn't need the time displayed when she isn't looking at the watch anyway. I would guess.
