I got the Apple Watch Ultra 2 yesterday I upgraded from the 6 and I love the ultra 2 I love the bigger display and the double tap feature

I had to listen to the size section a few times to make sure what I heard was correct. You said the smallest size (44mm) on the SE2, and then the larger size (44mm)… lol unless my ears are playing tricks on me. The SE2 is available in 40mm and 44mm.

I got my very first Apple Watch 18 months ago, just after the Series 8 was released. I bought the Nike Series 7 in Starlight. I didn’t need the 8’s extra features, but wanted more than the SE model had to offer. The Ultra was never in the running, due to its size and price. I’m lucky to live 15 minutes from an Apple Store, so was able to try all sizes/colours. I’d gone in thinking I’d get a darker colour, but ended up preferring a lighter one. My advice would be to try on if at all possible. You may end up buying elsewhere, but it was invaluable in my case. Thanks, as always, for the content!

I cant decide between the SE2 and the 9. The slightly better battery life and maybe faster charging, and the spO2 sensor of the 9 over the SE2 may be what drives me closer to the 9. But since I dont spend time in the tech world anymore, I dont what whats up with the spO2 sensor. If it doesnt work on the 9, I might as well buy the SE2. And I am not even so sure if spO2 is so useful anyway.

That’s a good idea for a video. I did one in the past but I’ll probably just make a short next week and have that comparison. Then for the iPhone questions I have 3 dummy iPhones I have on standby that lets me pair 5 Apple Watches to each phone. Lol also cool all might profile.

I have been in a constant loop. I want to buy an apple watch so I will not be using my phone a lot. Especially when I am working. My job is risky and in high places so when I get a phone call or text message I am scared to pull out my phone because risk of dropping it. So been thinking a lot I want a cheap one so the SE but scared that I will destroy the watch by banging it on any steel. And the Ultra looks good love it but expensive. Can anybody help me out if there is any way to protect the SE and series models good so I am not going to destroy them. Or I should really invest in the ultra

Ultra has 1.92” Display and Series 9 has 1.9”. Hearing everyone hype the ultras display size is comical because it’s a 49” ( body ) so everyone one thinks it’s sooooo much larger than the 45” ( body ) in display sizes.

If you want the series 9 with the sapphire display and a more durable case material, the price is $699. Bump up to the 45mm display and you are at $749. The Ultra is $799, a 50 buck difference when compared on a more "apples to apples" basis. Why all the fuss about the price of the ultra?

Not really. Some people don’t like humongous watches on their wrists or have smaller wrists, so the Series 9 is perfect as it comes in two smaller sizes and has all the main features of the Ultra 2.
