You have a great way with words! I've been doing a similar technique as this for a long time and now it has a name I'll have a secret smile every time I use it. Fantastic!

My most favorite Tshirt of all times: "Klang" is the german word for "Sound", so Port KLang is like my town ;-)

Do you hit the gong with additional strength (for sound is obvious yet the move looks so light)? or simply using the bouncing force lightly touch the gong?
@JensZygar2 жыл бұрын
There is a direct response reaction from the pinky finger as well as from the ring finger to the back bouncing mallet head on the face of the gong.

Way too pedantic! Frank Zappa said shut up and play yer guitar
@JensZygar2 жыл бұрын
Just don´t mind my channel; but, as You mention Frank Zappa;, whom I loved very much; I listened many of his records as essential initiations; and later I studies his biografy; actually he was very very pedantic, concerning the discipline of being precise while performing his compositions. and as well, sure YOu can just bang the gong, no probs, many people do that but as well, there are many interesting aspects and details if one is interested in organic gong playing.
