第三集
而伽羅在商業上的做為也得到姐姐與母親的理解與支援。伽羅在去採集露水的路上遇到在
操練兵馬期間中暑，命懸一線的宇文邕。伽羅利用拍痧救了宇文邕性命，宇文邕對善良的
伽羅產生好感。宇文邕因為身體贏弱而受到父親與哥哥的歧視，他不顧身體堅持操練武
藝，勞累過度再次病倒，伽羅因為擔心而責駡了宇文邕，他一氣之下說出自己在家中收到
排擠。伽羅為自己魯莽的行為感到抱歉，多次向宇文邕道歉請求原諒，兩人從此便成為好
友，伽羅找來秘藥為宇文邕調養身體並且將贈與其父親的秘弩，讓他發揮自己的長處，以
謀略制勝。宇文邕在比武會上憑藉高超的劍術重新贏得父親的重視。般若在大殿磕頭做拜
時說出自己希望嫁給天下之主的願望，被宇文泰之侄宇文護聽聞。般若參加佛殿後拋花擇
夫的活動，拋出的花枝落在宇文護的發簪上，宇文護經過對般若的調查，得知“獨孤天下”
的預言之後感到驚訝。
宇文邕與伽羅在郊外溫泉宮玩耍時，恰巧聽聞陪同皇上同來此地的宇文泰與宇文護商議除 掉皇帝的計畫，躲在假山後的伽羅不小心弄出聲響，宇文邕及時保護伽羅不被發現被宇文 護的劍刺傷，在對峙中也破壞了宇文泰的弑君計畫。為躲避宇文泰的追查，兩人閉起從水 閘之中游出皇宮，宇文邕發誓與伽羅做一輩子的朋友。

Mantuo is jealous that Ban-Ruo and Jialuo get 'so much attention' for being the eldest and youngest. So she plays up an over-exagerated version of herself to a point where she practically cries wolf over the slightest thing to get Jialuo in trouble and Ban-Ruo's love. But it never actually works due to the fact that Mantuo forgets that her sister can see through her. Regardless of how Mantuo can be, Ban-Ruo still loves her. So yeah, I could agree with you on that.

Okay so my conclusion so far: Loving Banruo and Jialuo but somehow can't stand Mantuo. Idk, she just seems fake to me and it doesn't look like she actually cares for her sisters. Mantuo gives off a beautiful sweet exterior but behind the face is a schemer. I felt that from the very first scene of her in episode 1. At the same time she's also a victim of circumstance because she was born from a concubine unlike her sisters so since she was little she has understood people view her differently due to that. And she seems to be going in the direction of pining for more so she can rise in status...

I think it's partly because of the fact that Banruo and Jialuo are born of the Official wife (full-blooded sisters), whereas Mantuo is born from a concubine (half-sister). And if there is anything I have learned in the fair share of Chinese Historical Dramas and novels I have watched and read is that you are only true siblings when you are born from the same womb.
