I like it. I'd use this in place of the Bluray player I am using as a CD transport in my audio system. The only deal-breaker for me is that it only comes in white. Sure would be nice to have the RGB and a display which my Bluray lacks.

I can recommend the Madison MAD-CD10 player, if you're interested. It's currently the most affordable component CD player for hi-fi equipment, as it goes for around 140 dollars while modern hi-fi players are mostly transports at a minimum of 500 dollars. Of course it's not on the same league as transports, but it fills a void in the market as a normal CD player in opposition to these gimmicky/portable offerings.

No remote control? Interesting to still see CD players being designed. Would be nice if you vary the lighting colours and dim, but I think a remote control is essential for something like this. A fun bit of kit though.

Is it noisy? Do You listen the spinning of the cd? My Discman so far is an external cd recorder by LG connected to volumio in raspberry pi 4 and regardless of sound Quality the cd reproduction is quite noisy. What happens here?

Hi-fi Speakers on a Portable CD Player. I don't think so. The description is put on the packaging to encourage people who don't know what HiFi is. If they had put a correct description about the speakers then it would be fine.

We have an Alexa Show 5 and the speaker on it is tiny, yet the bass is really strong. Yes, little speakers can produce HiFi sound.
