I mean this is on Tencent. PWG/HOTTA has to improve all of this. Not only voices, server is lag, dont compensate us for bugs ... that is the real UNACCEPTABLE thing. You can't blame HOTTA, they dont even know what TENCENT has been doing till they decided to get TOF back.

Of course they did, they supply them the game code. I ve spoken to Level Infinite devs. they did virtually nothing outside a few things here and there. Ultimately it was the CN code with EN localisation

Don't think that huge company will tell that they f up somewhere, or if they changed something that they not supposed to, especially if person they speaking to will post a video about it or talk about it on stream to huge audience, as well as if CN text is holding on a screen for 10 seconds but there is just 10 CN hieroglyph it is really different from our 3 sentences which we read and checking for spelling mistakes while reading, so tencent was supposed to hold it longer on screen if the text is takes longer to read than it's on CN text, and if they said that they used CN version it makes sense that you didn't have time to read it in English if they did nothing else except translating and didn't even checking if their translation is holding long enough to read

@@ChaosLoungeGaming the way tof is handled is a bit different, basically LI is supposed to handle everything global related while hotta is just supposed to do whatever LI want them to do LI was supposed to handle marketing, QA, VA, what content is in the patch and stuff like that (basically as close as being "developer" as possible). and we can kinda see how badly mismanaged global is by them, the only thing i enjoy is the community event stuff i'm not saying pwg gonna be flawless either. it's just... we have some bugs that do not exist in CN in the first place, which means the game likely run on 2 different branches of codebase. there's also problem of feedback not getting through to hotta like the group chat bug happening in instances like JO, apparently hotta was unaware this bug is even happening for months (we've been reporting the bug for months at this point), and had to go through direct path to hotta themselves, the bug got fixed within hours after this

Personally I really liked the story of 4.6, tho I did play in CN Voice acting so it was a really good animated and fully voiced as well as subtitles matched perfectly, but yes I do agree the English voice acting and issues are horrendous main reason why I switched to CN voice acting after 4.4

Missing voices is tencent job as well as english text, tencent did have that issue even in old stories, they not doing that job at all, thats why we moving to pwg, thats where hotta show that they care about the game and that they will work over the game, CN voices is all there in comparison, if text stays on screen not that long on pictures on CN and people is not mad about it on CN side then it means it was voiced on CN and people just listened instead of reading, not saying that you should turn on Chinese for voices and it will fix half of problems, but overall tencent was feeling too easy about the game that they didnt even send reports to devs if there is problems in a game, and half of those problems only exist on global version of the game, so even if game itself will not improve with pwg we will get working technical support, and another team that will translate everything and actually add missing voices to dialogs, can see tons of other things need to be fixed so devs will have huge amount of work or may be they already have to fix everything that tencent did, if you think that tencent job is only doing localization and game optimisation since all servers is their on global, then for your surprise i can see that they are allowed to change game code if its needed but you know when people dont know what they are doing it breaks the game, while they nerfing characters stats they breaking game changing numbers, and while they translate text to english they also breaking game because with less powerfull devices you can see how game lags and crashes only when you doing story missions and only on dialogues, and guess what its here for 2 years, if for pc players thats not a problem then there is no much mobile players since its impossible to play normally from the very start and it was getting worse every single patch from the very start and i cant see how its really a hotta problem, i mean if i report it, in technical support will be tencent and they will not send my report to hotta, and how would devs fix it if they didnt get report, im just here to see if its going to be fixed next month, i saw the notification about tencent not doing voice over for MC and i know that they missed half of voice overs even before that, so im surprised that they did actually have few lines voiced in entire story

I switched to CN voice a few patches ago and I got through the story smoothly without any issues (PS5). Yeah, Tencent kind of cooked Global with the lack of effort on many fronts, especially with the refusal to supply voice acting for the story. We'll have to see how Hotta/PWG do when they have control in Feb. Edit: Actually, there was some issues. I remember that one cutscene where Antoria and MC were charging in at Nemesis and it kinda just.. froze weirdly? Like I couldn't go to the next dialogue or anything. I was frozen for a good 15 seconds, unable to proceed. Yeah that was really odd

PWG wants to rebuild its reputation before NTE is released. Well, I don't see any improvement. 4.6 story is presented very badly, they lost this opportunity to gain players' interest. It's a pity, because what happened in 4.6 was really dramatic and has a lot of potential for a very good story.

I hadn't wanted to spoil anything in stream or in discord. I finished it soon after the update dropped and thought maybe my experience was just glitchy. %100 agree. We don't get much story in this game but i'm also someone that likes it, even if sometimes it's not the best written. Production has increasingly gotten worse. The meat of the story is there.. they're just dropping the ball on delivery. It was infuriating how fast the dialog went off screen...and just in general how thrown together it seemed for such an important part of the story. It was like the writers gave the interns the outline and instead of building around it, they just strung it together. I still have it left to play on my alt, so maybe combined with what I did gleem from my first play, i'll understand more. :D

its ez to understand, if hotta launch a update and a bug appear in global but no in china is 10cent fault. What has happened is that the timing has been bad, on the one hand LI has completely ignored his work and PWG has not had time to do things. Knowing what the situation is like, I don't understand why now you act surprised.

I couldn't agree more on this honest opinion. It might be the fault of the publishers. Once the patch is given to them, they need to at least quality control the content before publishing. Obviously they do not care about TOF anymore and preempted any support given to the game. But nevertheless, I agree on all aspects of this vide. I am also highly invested in this game's lore, kinda frustrating actually. What I did is, every time I am about to do stories, I always record and comeback to it later. Hotta also needs to step up their game. there's a lot of bugs reported to them and till now nothing has been fixed so far or if there are, only a few MINOR. weapon bugs are ignored.

I agree. You complain about the story. I complained about that AND mostly the extremely lack-luster (male) MC character customization design options (which ofc noone talks about LoL). Not to mention, there are little to NO masculine outfits/armors, accessories, build sliders, etc to even indicate that Executors (MC) aren't just skinny, fashion run-way, boy models. So for All my straight, masculine weebs/nerds/bros thinking about playing this game in hopes to RP or even design a bad-ass (masculine) anime/manga male lead, DON'T do it! You can't play through the entirety of this game without your masculine, male custom character to eventually looking like a f'ng fairy (let's not even talk about male weapon animations). This is a fan service/gooner, waifu game ONLY! So play this if you are into waifus or that kind of stuff. This game is great for that.

Direct it to the devs with some emails and tweets. Everyone knows why voices are missing in games and even wuwa has unvoiced dialogue. If your response to people is you don't care, why the hell should anyone care about a grown man crying to youtube, direct it where it belongs. No, you couldn't do a better job or you'd be doing it instead of this.

@@Photos-NXS-Jayce it's not in CN version, it's the global version that's been in turmoil with horrible servers, bugs and half assed cutscenes, dialogue, interactions etc. Even a small change as picking the CN voice acting in settings you'll see that most of the dialogue skipping, abrupt cuts, missing subtitles etc are gone or minimized in main story. With the PW transfer I really hope they will take global seriously finally and give us the same servers that PS5 players have been enjoying, have been playing PC version since launch years ago and PS5 one from time to time and the biggest impact is seeing how much smoother the servers are with having to really try to send it in a super fast car to make it stutter even a bit unlike the PC/mobile level infinite servers that stutter no matter what you do even on much more powerful hardware than a ps5

@@VenomVendue I've also played the game on PC since launch.. well until WuWa debuted. It has has glitches since launch that have never been fixed. I keep checking in to see if anything has changed, NOPE, and I'm, apparently, a glutton for punishment.
