I got another idea if people don't have power tools. You can take a nail big nail put your hole in the spindle. And on the tree part glue you a piece of real stout wire like the big gauge type and put that in the hole.

I must say as a crafter, and someone that's highly addicted to watching other's craft on youtube, Kathy's channel is the literally the most underrated crafting channel on here.....!! Her creativity is amazing, and normally her DIY's are creations I haven't seen anywhere else....!! Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of talented crafters I follow on here, although there's only about a half dozen who are actually creative like Kathy is, then the rest of them are like me and they're basically just crafty....!! Being creative and being crafty are two entirely different thing's, someone that's creative makes up the DIY's, and someone who's crafty, like me can figure out how to emulate those creative people's DIY's, but also put our own little spin on it to make it our own....!!

I agree with you about the blue and white got to thinking about it it would look good more christmasy if you put it with angels in the night sky oh holy night above it. And even with that third color which would be your yellow could be some stars. 🤔

Miss Kathy, I adorn how your tiled tree turned out. I just ordered some transfers from Miss Lori (Thank you for her link) and I think it would turn out pretty with those also. I love the pretty Christmas tree. Since I have a small display of Delft blue and white ceramics, I would have kept the original blue and white tile and used a snowy blue-themed picture for the insert and a silver or white bow.
