Great video - so spoilt for choice - I liked the Coach one (more in my price bracket and would dread to spend thousands on a luxury raffia bag and it go all roughed up) but wish they had done a summery yellow leather instead of black 😁

A Chinese friend of mine told me that the cost of bags is very low. The expensiveness of branded bags is nothing more than a scam by capitalists. Some use the guise of charity and end up making a lot of money for themselves *condup*

I agree, the black leather is quite a harsh contrast against the light colored raffia. Haha, you are way more sensible than I am then ;) I have been sooo tempted, in particular by the Celine Panier bag with the Triomphe logo woven into the bag (and tempted to disregard the fact that it is unreasonably expensive for such a delicate material). But you are right, realistically, 400ish € should be the absolute max for a highly seasonal and natural material bag

Glad you enjoyed the variety of brands :) I honestly didn’t realize how many brands came out with their versions of raffia and palm leaf bags. They just kept coming the longer I strolled through the department store. I adore that one Celine bag, but realistically I don’t think I’d have enough occasions where I’d be able to carry such a super summery bag, to justify the price tag🙈 Thank you as always, for watching and taking the time to comment❤️
