I'm retrieving the absolute max speed from the velocity field and use it to control a gas disturbance. Nodes used to do this: Gas Match Field, Gas Reduce, Gas Analysis, Modify Data.

Past years they have updated the speed calculation there as default? In the pyro solver, so all this is outdated i guess? I was able to atleast just straight up use speed in the control field

Hey, I saw all of your videos, I took your idea and played around a bit and actually controlled turbulence and disturbance based on velocity, it works, you just need to advect it, if you can give me any mail address or any social media link to contact you I can send you the file and maybe we both can get even better RnD ideas, thanks for sharing all these, cheers.
