Affect Reflect DOP is always more complicated than other ways in Houdini :s

Thank you so much for your video! I was wondering if it would be possible to blend this solver with another solver, like a POP solver, using a multisolver? I love the result of this but I'm trying to figure out the best way to combine this with additional forces, such as a target to reach, or additional wind, turbulence, or path.

Hello I’m a fan of ur tutorials, thanks for all the videos, they are all really helpful. Currently I’m learning grasshopper at school and want to know more about L system, DLA, recursions using only grasshopper, especially using the plugin called ‘Anemone’ which repeats the process. こんにちは、初めまして動画をいつも拝見させてもらっているものです。 現在学校でグラスホッパーを習っているのですが、その中の課題の1つにグラスホッパーだけを使いスウォームインテリジェンス作る課題が出ました。 ネット上ではrese arch seasionを除き、あまりスウォームインテリジェンスの作成方法がのっていませんでした。 DLA, Lsystem, recursionをグラスホッパーのみを使用し、スウォームインテリジェンスを作る動画を作っていただけないでしょうか? いつも動画投稿ありがとうございます。

if it's fine using pythonin GH then I could try, since using anemone for swarm intelligence would be pretty slow in terms performance.

Well, I am wondering if it is possible to use some more abstract shapes as bounding region. Ofc it is possible in some way but I am not sure how to write it down. Should I use the volume of the boundig object or take the pointinformation and somehow dectectm, if the Agents are inside the volume. How do I do a custome border(edge) detect? U got my sub and perhaps I use ur basic idea for a project for application at university. Excuse my horribly english Greetings from Germany !

I set parameters and expression same as this video, however i couldn't get same result. Points flied apart, do not gather. Please teach me how to fix it.....

can l ask the question? l meet question if i make this turtoral in houdini 19.5,but solver's attribute wrangle can't direction to group type point, so I think this question from to above group, but l saw this node ,can't find the problem, so l want ask you, group type's point,how can dirction to attribute wrangle's run over point

Also, why not implementing this into POP instead of a SOP Solver? You still get the multi threaded performance anyway but inside a full DOP/POP environment! Good job tho!

Yeah if I want to use an already implemented physics function then using POP is more efficient I guess. Or if it is going to be faster using POP/DOP then I got to try it.

Your cohesion, repulsion and alignment will be the same ( I suggest to use point clouds instead tho ) but being into DOP has its own advantage anyway.

I don't really have an idea how I could teach the language, also the use case of Japanese is pretty limited throughout the world I believe.
