I saw these guy at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in 1978 opening for The Babys and REO Speedwagon. The Hounds were great.

I went to the Carnegie Theater in Chicago to the Insane Coho Lips Breakfast Club that Steve and Gary Hosted. My mother had called in and won 4 tickets 81-82 ish ?

I bought this album, probably from a discount bin, solely because of the borzois on the cover - I had a couple of borzois at the time. And I got some decent music as a bonus. Good band.

Mike keys- so glad people remember these guys. Saw them open for angel city (I believe at College of DuPage) and then again when they opens for blue oyster cult in Rockford. So underrated. Still have the vinyl but have almost worn out the grooves on next in line.

Mother's- on Division St Chicago. Huge basement low ceiling- compressed the sound. Luckily there were allot of bodies to adsorb it.

Just wanted to say that the Hounds were a head of their time cause when they came out they were using different types of instruments that at that time no one else was mixing instruments together like them different style of music all together a mix that blew my mind in the late 70,s and early 80,s reminds me of the cars which came out later this is why I say they were ahead of their time it's great to hear this music again alot of people have never even heard of this band I wish that more people could have a chance to listen to them some how it would be cool if some radio station would play the whole album once a week for a while so people can have a chance to listen to them thanks for letting me speak on here and taking the time to read what the public has to say about the music world God Bless you all and keep on keeping it alive
