Definitely the Lancôme wore better for longer but they are both beautiful foundations. HG foundations have never been that long wearing on me for some reason.

It's the HG for me and my dry skin. I'll have to make sure to prep my face with hydrating products and possibly a facial oil, because I think this foundation looks a little nicer when a small amount of natural oils come through. Unfortunately, I don't get the teeniest bit of oil, hence the skin prep. The dry skin struggle is real - dry patches just aren't attractive 😐 I'm super glad you did this comparison, I almost bought the Lancome then you said you were doing this vid. I really appreciate you and this vid ❤ Love ya 💛💚💚💛

Sorry that I sometimes comment too much. I NEVER wear foundation for more than 6 hours, so I have a different strategy for buying foundation. As long as it stands up 6-7 hours before it starts looking worn, I'm good. I think I changed my mind on wanting this towards the end. I'll try the CT.

Your eye looks are bomb! I just had to say that! The foundation looks great on you as well, you got a good shade match. I am 41 with oily skin, light cool undertone. I got shade 3, and it was way too yellow and a bit too light. So I ordered shade 4.5, fingers crossed. After seeing your experience with oil breakthrough, I know that I'll need to use a good primer and powder to keep things from breaking up.

My skin more dry side but no too bad, don’t have much texture. I barely like fountain I usually use charlotte Tilbury primer that’s glory with color or it cosmetics cc cream.

I was thinking about this but i saw reviews that it is quite mat like and a bit drying. i have dry skin and a combo oily t zone at times. today i wore my Chanticalle seemless skin foundation over primer and under hourglass setting powder and finishing powder. it costs over €80 but looked good and lasted all day. think im going to stick to thé chanticaille for now

Hi Stef, I'm just wondering which is better this new Hourglass or the Makeup Forever? This looks nice on some skin types, in some reviews I've watched. Aren't they similar in finish / formula? Have you been using/enjoying the Makeup Forever? The Makeup Forever seemed to look more skin like and wore great on almost everyone who reviewed it. What are your thoughts?

I like the finish and over all look of this one more than I do the MUFE one. However, the MUFE lasts longer as in it doesn’t get broken up by the 10 hour mark. If I had to choose between the 2 I would go for the Hourglass because the overall finish of it is really beautiful and it provides good coverage. It also gives more of an airbrushed appearance.

Lol right now it’s Crest Brilliant White I think. It’s one of their more advanced whitening ones. I don’t drink coffee so, that also helps.
