Ugh such a shame ! I just bought this today , I’m looking for a replacement for my beloved discontinued Smashbox Studio Skin foundation . I can’t believe this Hourglass foundation is $78 in Canada too! Thanks for the honest video , if you have a foundation recommendation that blurs , doesn’t enhance texture and has shades that match your skin , please let me know !

So annoying that your favourite foundation got discontinued! What type of a finish do you prefer? Dewy, matte or natural?

I prefer either a matte , natural or radiant finish (but without any kind of dewyness ). Reason being is I have some pitted acne scars on my cheeks, im in my 30’s and feel dewy foundations separate in the fine lines and enhance texture . I also hate the dewy tacky feeling that seems to still be present after setting powder with dewy foundations . …. Thank you! I’m also Canadian & just want to say I love your personality! :)

@@NS-tz3nt Wohoo! Love a fellow Canadian. If you want to make sure there's no dew or tackiness, try the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless foundation. It becomes more radiant with a dewy base, so you always have the option, but itself as a foundation is a demi matte. It REALLY fills in fine lines and plumps which I think can be good for you, and it has a radiant finish without being greasy. So it won't completely blank your face out like the maybelline dream mousse from the 2010s lol but it also won't leave you an oil slick. Give it a try and lmk how it goes! thanks for the compliment and for the sub :)
