Thanks for the review, Michelle. I have last years and that’s enough for me. I was tempted by the blush palette until I pulled out my Chanel blushes and found I already have those shades in a formula I prefer- yay! There is a convenience in having a palette especially when traveling but a purchase already made is better than one to be made is much better for me at least. Great job!

I think the Ghost palette is awesome but Unlocked is still the one for me (because it leans warmer than Ghost)! Especially the blushes in the Unlocked, I've been using those more than my Chanel blush!

I purchased the Hour Glass blush palette. This is my first time using this brand. And I am in love with the blushes. I was afraid I wouldn’t see the colors on my skin tone. I’m a medium dark. But this palette has really worked out. They are Gorgeous. So very happy. 💕💕

I agree, a quad cheek palette makes so much sense. Much easier to travel with and I love that they are 4 different shades. I wish it didn’t have brilliant nude because I already have the full size single. The light pink in the ghost palette reminds me of the outer colour in the Charlotte Tilbury ecstasy blush. 😍 The Unlocked palette is still my favourite and I hear they might re-release it for the holidays, but I’ll probably get the ghost palette because I love Hourglass. 🥰

I haven’t tried the Ghost palette yet, but I love the regular Incandescent Strobe Light. I think of it as a matte highlight. It gives a lit from within look without being over the top or glittery.

I’m loving the ghost face palette. I’m very cool and fair and every shade works for me. I also have the 3 pan palette and mood light, which I love! I’ve wanted to try Diffused light. I only have one repeat shade in the ghost palette, Dim Light but it’s such a workhouse. I can’t imagine a face palette without it. I love how pink toned this one is! It’s my first time trying the blushes and I am so impressed! They are so pretty and stay on till I wash my face at night. It’s so perfect for me. Though the packaging is not my favorite I could not NOT get it! Clear glossy acrylic would have been pretty!

What a stunning palette - these shades look lovely on you! I am so happy to hear that the highlight doesn’t have glitter particles in it. Sometimes I notice some of the blushes are a bit too glittery for my liking. The ones that are more subtle are absolute perfection, though! 😍

Hey michelle, hourglass has 4! Bronzers and there are 2 that you might like. They are called diffused bronze light and natural bronze light. I have skin with very pink undertone and they look great on my skin! Diffused bronze looks a bit more reddish (what you like) and natural bronze light is very natural and my favorite. Give them a try! You will love them 😘

I agree with your comment t about the original hourglass bronzers being very warm, but the newer Hourglass bronzer in the color diffused bronze light is cool toned and really stunning! You may like it

I got the face palette. I am very very fair and all the shades look great on me! The packaging has grown on me. I felt it looked a little cheap, but in actually using it I really like that I can hold the sides without leaving fingerprints.

I am about nc43 right now. I can wear all 4 in the blush palette- one as a highlighter (a gentle glow) and the others as blushes. They will be best when I fade a little in winter but I do like subtle blushes.

I was hoping that HG would bring back the metallic strobe highlighter trio in the silver 3 pan palette! Those r more impactful and tons of ppl still use/love them, they say they would repurchase it if it were available. I missed it and they don't sale that formula, but 1 of the Metallica strobe highlighters is in the unlocked palette this yr an last yr of course.

I purchased the large face palette and I’ve so been on the fence with it. My struggle is justifying $80 for a palette in which 50% of it is not new products. I understand the versatility of the ambient face powders and convenience in one palette, but I so wish they would have put in all new products or new shades. It is pretty but very expensive for me.

All of the shades you tried looked fantastic on you! Hourglass makes such gorgeous and flattering powders, especially for uber dry skinned folks like myself. I am just so disappointed that they don't offer their powders in shades deep enough for all to enjoy. Hopefully they've listened to this critique from an abundance of people and have been working on perfecting deep and dark shades and will release them soon. On another note, I've heard and seen a picture of a Ghost Unlocked Palette they will be releasing this holiday season, and that it will have the same shades as last year's Unlocked Palette...I know so many poeple didn't get a chance to grab it that wanted to, and that a lot of others who used it daily wanted backups - I hope that all of those individuals will get the chance to get it! I hope you recover from jet lag quickly!

Thanks Michele! I went for it and love their color choices including the two shades in the face palette and the one is the blush quad that are existing in their line already. Why tweak the color if they know it is a favorite for so many and seems to be needed for sake of having in all in one palette That third strobe highlight that has same name in the face palette is different without the glittery bits so to me it is a new color; the new improved color. So really there are only two shades in that palette that are repeats. The palette needed those other two. So, I’m happy. Likewise the brilliant nude blush just needs to be there. They could have changed it a bit and called it something different but I think that risks it not working for a few people that the brilliant nude otherwise does. Anyway, I’m pleased with it.

I think you mean diffused light? For finishing, I like the Guerlain Meteorites, if you don't mind the violet fragrance. And the Koh Gen Do Sheer Lucent Powder.

To be honest I don't think this palette would show up much on you...Possibly the blush palette but the face palette I don't think so... Maybe wait till they bring back the Unlocked palette I think I heard Tara Lyn saying where the colours in that palette are darker/more pigmented...

I am probably going to pass on the palettes, only because I am still loving & using my Ambient Lighting Edit 3. I may get the larger palette if I have the spare cash, the bronzer & iridescent rose blush are both calling to me. I am going to get the scattered light set, I wear the current one I own (Smoke) at least once a week. Ray was going to be the next colour I picked up.
