I'd rather save myself some money and buy the Korean versions of these cream-powder shadows. Aritaum Shine Fix Eyes are way better and more sparkly than these ones (which I'm sure Hourglass took inspiration from). They are a fraction of the price with the same texture and have numerous shades to choose from.

Hourglass shadows are made in korea. I think they are made in same factory.

I can't deny the aritaum shine fix eyes are a far better value. They're SO intense, glittery, and gorgeous for such an affordable price! However, I have those, the marc jacobs, and the hourglass and can honestly say they are all different. If I had to compare, the aritaum shine fix eyes is more similar to marc jacobs see-quins than hourglass. To me, the marc jacobs was most intense in pigment/shine and the hourglass is least. The hourglass has a slightly more refined, work appropriate vibe than the marc jacobs/aritaum (which are more glam). They're all incredible though.

I love the Hourglass Scattered light shadows ❤️ Have them im shade Aura and Blaze. I find they very adult kind of shimmer. Elegant and sattle shimmer. Effortless to use. Beautiful!

I really want to purchase something else from Hourglass. I bought their lipstick in Icon and I've bee obsessed with them every since. I dont buy highlighters, I think its wasteful but I really want one of the ambient light powders. These shadows remind me of Eyes To Kill and L'Oreal pressed pigments.

Naima Dillard my thoughts exactly! Even their packaging & the way she described their texture sounds so similar to me. These look even less shimmery & vibrant than the L’Oreal, with a much more limited shade range. And I thought the L’Oreal was expensive (~$8 a pop).

I have Reflect and it’s straight up gold, nothing champagne-y or taupe about it.

They do look very pretty, but that price... The NYX cosmic metals palette has 6 shades, the colors are nearly identical to these, and it's only $10. For that price, it's worth it to lay down a different cream base and just pile the metallic powder on top.

Meh ,,, I’m not impressed ,,,, I much prefer the taste chrome paints over these ,,, and they aren’t as expensive as these per pots ,,, I have frosè & it’s a stunning duo chrome pink peach shade ,,, & their other colors are also stunning ,,, I also like the Stila glow & glitter shadows when it comes to cream eye shadows ,,,, it seems like everyone is trying to jump on this bandwagon ,,, the tarte chrome shadow pots are $22 ,,, also pricey but not $29 ,,, & so easy to apply & great formula & pigmentation xoxo
