i think its more or less a basic lesson in getting the feel of a house groove. and that this "bouncing" is an essential part in various house steps. watch the other house vids on this channel and you'll see they incorporate this movement in their other steps (sometimes very subtly)

Yes the video title is "House - Down" - Down pertaining to the down groove. The importance with down groove is to emphasise the groove going down. Not 'bouncing'

Alot of the steps on this channel are the basic foundations for all of the styles. Or basic 'party dance' / 'social steps' to the style of dance itself. N.B: This isn't in response to your particular comment, but just to anyone that comes across and reads this in the future.
