Thank you for speaking out about your mom. Even though you don’t have to, it resonates with some of us. I have a mom who I no longer speak to that was physically and mentally abusive. She also kept me away from my biological father and his family because she knew they would fight for me if they knew the trauma she was putting me through as a child. I would never treat my children the way I was treated and sometimes people just don’t get it. I respect her because she is my mom but disrespectfully stay the heck away from me and my kids.
