My mom also got a house when she was your age, 27/28 no help from parents. All from her own hard work, & all her savings. We were renting till then. No matter the age, buying a home is a beautiful accomplishment and a great milestone💗

Hey just a tip, they may be Brian’s prescription, but they may be yours too. Lenses can be made from different types of materials, the higher end materials tend to be thinner than lower end materials even if they are the same prescription. I spent a few years as an optician

I personally prefer renting! I like to move every two years or so and have a new/different environment, that makes life exciting for me… some people don’t like the responsibility of owning ! people have different priorities wants and need. People who said this like grow up ! Lol sheesh

The soup is called Sopa de Fideo. And those are Tacos Dorados. They’re a traditional Mexican dish, delicious and easy recipe. Watching you eat made me crave some soup. I’ll probably make some tomorrow .

I feel you!! When I style my natural hair it’s like I’m going to war w/ products, the spray bottle, a comb/brush AND waiting for it to dry (which can take like well over 20 hrs if it’s in a bun) lol - I don’t even have kids and I don’t wanna do it everyday - your hair is always gorgeous!!🫶🏾

Half the people judging you for renting a house, are renters themselves. I’m not understanding what there is to judge anyway. I would love to rent a house versus an apartment if I wasn’t able to buy yet. But the fact that you bought a house is a HUGE accomplishment regardless of how you were able to do it. It’s crazy how people project what THEY deem as “unsuccessful”, onto other people.
