House Flipper 2 - Spanish Cottage - (Sandbox Build)

I will begin with a thank you. As an old gamer, and emphasis on the word "old", i tend to prefer videos that i can just watch and relax. If i want conversation i turn to podcasts. I've just discovered your channel and this video last night really allowed me to wind down and declutter the old mind. Even though i can play games on pc, i prefer a larger screen so i am probably likely to wait for the console release of House Flipper 2. My wife too is eagerly awaiting to jump in to the new game (though she is all about quick builds, flipping, getting a profit and moving on to the next creation). Me - i like to create that make believe home that if we were able we would actually move in to. It allows for my imagination to run wild and to just immerse into the atmosphere. Your videos are showing me what is possible. Your attention to detail and creative mind is mesmerising. Beautiful properties. Really appreciate the efforts you put in which you then share with us all. So again, thank you. (Apologies for the long message. I love writing and sometimes just have words i wish to share in an effort to engage.)

Thank you very much! I love your comment and I too enjoy watching the design builds. There are a few channels that do that and I tend to watch them instead of the play along videos. I don't know what it is but it is very relaxing watching others create houses or just redesigning them.

You are very welcome. And i agree entirely. The older i get the more i gravitate to a more relaxing media where i can sit back and watch in a relaxing atmosphere. A few great ones that are very similar: 1. @HOMEDESIGNGAMES, this channel has long form videos just like mine with no music, very relaxing creative builds and remodels. 2. @Jelliedesigns, beautiful long form remodels and builds with music. 3. @ChaoticJelly, beautiful long form remodels and builds with music. 4. @maritzaaaaa, a new creator that does long form builds with music. I’m 20 minutes in and I’m already amazed! I had no idea you could put the fireplace into the wall like that! I feel like I’m playing the sims 3 but in first person with create a pattern tool, it’s soooo fun 😄

see i have mixed feelings about the game to be honest. its cute and cool and all but it feels more restricting on item colissions :D and have one single question xD do you know where did the curtains go xD how do you design a house without curtains :D does it feel complete :D

There are no curtains yet...or pillows 😢 but I'm sure it will come in time. The building part of it in sandbox is really great and I hope they will add more build items like more pillars, poles, 2x2's, etc. I have been making 2x2's out of shelves with the resize/move feature. You can resize some items and move items inside of other items or right up next to other items, even flip them upside down/sideways. There is no collision restriction so I know there will be some real creativity by the community. I can't wait to see what people can do. 😊😊

I was on Discord the other night and the devs chimed in and said they are working on new items. The images they posted were beautiful. Hopefully, window treatments will be in the next update. A room is not complete without them.

Hey, I dont know if you do tutorial videos at all but if you do can you go through how roofing works. I dont know if story mode varies from sandbox but I am having the worse time figuring out roofing lol.

I'm pretty sure that sandbox mode is very different from Story mode. I have seen posts on discord about it. I haven't actually worked with roofing in Story mode at all. If you have questions about roofing in Sandbox mode I can certainly try to help.

I go back and forth on this. I have a couple videos with music playing but most are without. I have had requests to add music and when I add the music I get requests to remove the music, lol. There are many people that prefer the quiet build sounds so I figured that if I add music, you cannot remove it but if I do not add music then those that want music can listen to music in another way. I tried to leave the game music in but then when I sped up the video in editing it sounded like the chipmunks were playing music so I had to scratch that. I am between a rock and a hard place on this one. I am very happy you watched my video though and I see if I can get some very soft music in the background that doesn't cover up the build sounds. Maybe that is the happy medium I am looking for! 😊
