If your item is pretty small, the light source generated with it will give such harsh lighting that makes it seem weird on the thumbnail. You can delete the light from the hierarchy. But I'll say, after testing it for a while, plus having an updating feature, FD's Steam Workshop support is pretty rad.

Thanks much, that was pretty clear, and I got it to work first try. Except -- if you export OBJ from your modeler, Unity doesn't act automatically to apply the material, unlike with FBX. You have to go through additional steps. It would also be nice if you gave a little extra support to modders -- you might not be able to share any wood textures if you bought those assets (though that would be super), but at the very least you could share the values for paint colours. Matching this is a horrible chore (I am still at it), and feels like a waste of my time when you could just tell us.

I am using the Unity Hub 3.4.2 and it does not have that "Add" button. I did try the "Add proj from disk" option, but that did not work. I also tried via the "Open" but got a response saying the address is not valid. Do you happen to have an updated video?

My material from blender isn't showing up when I export the asset to unity (it's just a white texture). Does anyone know how to get it showing in game?

Don't know if you already figured it out, my understanding is that theres visual data that you will see in unity. But youll have to end up manually plugging in those materials to the spots in unity.

1. export in FBX, Unity deals best with that, and your material will be included. 2. if you export in OBJ there is a separate .mtl file that Unity doesn't grab with its default settings -- you need to make sure it's got the same name as your model (your export usually takes care of that), and then in Unity after importing the asset, select it, go to Materials (top right), expand "Remapped Materials", for Naming choose "Model Name + Model's Material" and leave the other one on Recursive-Up. Apply, and it should work. You might have to drop the .mtl file on the Unity Assets window too, I forgot. There might be an easier way, but I haven't used Unity much, and just went through the same problem you had, and that's how I solved it.

I downloaded the HF Workshop from steam, but the folder does not contain the "Workshop Expoter.sln.DotSetting.user. I see you have it, but I install twice and do not have this. Where can I find?

That's what Blender tutorials are for; there are more of them than you can shake a stick at, and you can also import existing Material Libraries that have metallic textures, so you don't even have to make your own. Shadows are a bit more complicated; learn the basics first before worrying about it.

You can own your own home. You can also move your office to said home, and then sell the previous "office" space as well. No need to sell, it's only for profit!

Nice, but all the other things a lot of people asked for, isn't still in houseflipper. Like making you're own house from scratch. So an empty lot and setting your windows, doors, stairs, etc,etc.
