Hi guys! In this video, I wanna show you a real house in Ukraine which is on sale for 3000$.
It is located in the Poltava region, 190-200 km from Kyiv, in a good green area with hills and rivers around. This house has 2.5 acres of land, a huge yard, and even its own forest just in the yard. Also, it has already gas and electricity inside. It's a great offer!
I hope you enjoy this video. Please like and subscribe.

i am well travelled. i travelled to the Ukraine twice. This is one of my favorite countries. Kiev is wonderful city, and the small towns and villages are charming in their own way. i look middle-eastern and never felt unwelcome. It is also embrassily cheap for tourists. I felt often guilty for paying so little in restaurants. People, first seem cold, until they know you a bit better and then they open up and can be very friendly. Hopefully the Corona situation will improve soon so travelling will be fun again

Pavlo and Luba are a charming young couple. They are most pleasant to watch because they seem to appreciate their bond with the earth and are not afraid to reveal those things that have meaning in their life. I have lived with a family from Ukraine and they are cordial people who willingly share their culture with anyone who are wishes to take part. Luba’s family farm house is timeworn but it displays the character of many who have called it home. Thank you Pavlo for sharing.

I love that smile! The house is what we'd call (in my area of the US) a "fixer-upper." I'm too old and lazy to do that much work any more. I could see it as a perfect place for an artistic young couple producing paintings, pottery or glass work, though. If I lived there, I'd turn it into a blacksmith shop like I have here on my farm. Thanks for another great video, guys!

That is the issue most people have with exploring new countries… they need people to explore with them that kind of know the place. The best thing to do is sponsor someone from the country that you want to see, let them stay with you as they explore this country, and you stay with them as you explore their country… This is the next best thing, and not as expensive.

My wife and would live in a place like this happily. While the home needs work it has everything you could need or want. Where we live in south Texas away from a large city, a property like that with 2.5 acres, solid structure, electricity and heat and near a good road, even without indoor plumbing could easily bring 80,000. In an area closer to a large city in Texas could bring much more than that. The property alone could be worth 150,000 and up. Where you live in Ukraine is very beautiful, thank you for showing it to us.

$80K in a rural area of the US was what I was thinking too. Of course, it would likely have indoor plumbing/etc. in the US. I have seen properties in rural Portugal that need a lot of work, but have land/etc. for something closer to $35K-$40K USD. My main concerns would be not knowing the culture or language.

In Greece, to a small village near/close to a big city, the same property will go around 30.000-40.000 euros, ten times and even more than in Ukraine. If it is near the sea, goes up to 60.000-70.000 euros. But based on Greek living standards, you have to spend another 20.000-30.000 on renovations in order to be livable.

Where I live in the U.S. it would bring a similar price of about 70 to $80 thousand. We would demolish all the small buildings and start over. My grandfather had a nice parcel of land right on a lake. The land was all anybody wanted. They built a big new house. People with a lot of money want to make their dwellings fit their new lifestyles, unless it is truly an architectural beauty.

Hope you guys buy that homestead and fix it up, feed the birds and maybe even set up a few bee hives just for the enjoyment of loving such wonderful insects that produce fabulous honey by working and flying so hard from flower to flower then back to the colony. I love this property inside and out... I've got a small amount of savings and if I was halfway organised I'd of bought this property.....seems strange saying this now,but I've always loved the look of the Ukraine ever since looking at it in books my MUM bought for me at Christmas and birthdays back in the 70s and 80s...and then watching vloggers in the Ukraine has made it stronger....I don't know what the process is for foreigners (Brits) buying in the Ukraine and if Brexit has changed that....I know of course there's a war going on hopefully things change sooner than later for every Ukrainian....I suppose I'm showing support by saying that I'll still be interested in looking at this property in the future if possible.... I've been looking in Bulgaria as well but prices have risen a lot there during COVID I suppose those with money still see it as good value where as I'm not willing to pay those prices and 🤗 haven't the money anyway 😊... there's still lots of really cheap property there Bulgaria, but this one in the Ukraine has really got my heart.... I'm thinking about the people in beautiful Ukraine every day and it's heartbreaking watching what's happening everything I've watched about the Ukraine prior to the war it's people so giving open and vibrant and it's cities, towns and villages and real blend of society I'm devastated to see what's happening...all my thoughts and prayers are with everybody going through hell in the Ukraine🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🙏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️❤️...

Around here (southern part of Sweden, well outside larger cities), this would be about $90k-125k. Also, the renovation to make it safe and follow the national regulations would double that before you were allowed to move in. If it was in a larger city, it could be $400-$500k easily.

Sounds great. There is only one little "but". Unlike Ukraine, Sweden is not at war with Russia hence any purchased property is not at risk of being completely destroyed in near future due to a war. Or at risk of being nationalized by an invading foreign country. Hence probably difference in pricing.

That is why in Sweden the average salary is 3,500 euros and in Ukraine - 500. If they pay more somewhere, it is only because they spend more there! 3 years ago I ate a hot dog in Stockholm. I paid 3.5 euros. At that time in Ukraine, the same hot dog cost 80 cents. Falcon beer - 1.2 euros. The analogue in Ukraine then cost 30 cents. High wages in Sweden are another tax on business. High social standards are good, but where is Erickson? Where are the SAAB cars? Why does Volvo belong to the Chinese? Europe sells Asia what parents create, just like an addict who wants the next dose!

Very nice place, and 2.5 acres is fantastic! Same house and land in US might be as little as $100,000 but more likely would range between $175,000-300,000 if it was in a desirable or growing area. Wonderful potential for the house, could be updated fairly easily. My grandparents’ house (built before 1840 in central Ohio farmland) had the same baby swing setup in the kitchen door!

US has real property tax which is almost non-existent in Ukraine. Hence difference in prices. Plus jobs in Ukraine pay very little, people have very low purchasing power due their earnings, so they have to emigrate, abandon their country and there is little interest in purchasing local properties. I do not live in Ukraine still most of people around me are from Ukraine. Why? Since in here they earn double and can afford housing for their earnings. No wonder empty abandoned houses in Ukraine ,especially in the countryside, have very low market value. If someone would move there in all likelihood such person could not afford to stay there. And country at war with Russia, unlike Italy, hardly a good spot for a wealthy person from Germany or US to retire. Most people from this group will opt for France or Italy where there is no war on the horizon. Or for India.

You are right, prices are very low in the villages, where you have little to no infrastructure: no medical care, post, shop whatsoever. In this case there is a road at least. You should also note, that in Ukraine it is really difficult to earn any good money if you are not an IT specialist, a businessman, etc. So living in such a property mainly assumes, that you use the land and buildings in the yard to completely serve yourself and live out of it. It is considered quite a tough life, but people used to live like this and do still live so. Now younger generation either flees abroad or moves to the cities, where they get some infrastructure. So the money and taxes you pay in the USA mostly provide you with that extra means, and also you have a better earning potential to compensate for that. So to summarise: yes, if you have a decent bank account, you can move to Ukraine and live there for cheap, but with various risks. You will get relatively plenty of land, but very limited possibilities besides of it.

Like another one said, even if the wages are higher every cost is higher now too, and the quality of life has gone down if youre European. But that looks like my Grandfathers farm in Michigan as I recall as a small child, how they even knew to come to the US fleeing from communist Romania maybe what 70 yrs ago and buy a farm with some horses I have no idea. If there are not a lot of government regulations on how you must fix it and if you could get the building supplies in the area, many Americans would love it. I bought a small house in my city with the land for three houses. With my father and brothers helping me I was able to redo the electric, make house bigger and fix the roof.40 yrs later I still live here and the value is 10 times what I paid. Of course I paid for the materials but all the work was free. Most of us are school teachers and the pay is very low, but because we have read books and learned how to do it correctly we all have very nice homes. The city inspects the work along the way and if it is not right you must redo it. Also you must show on paper what you are going to do and get a permit before you start, for electrical or gas work you must pass a test to show you understand the rules, you can only work on a house you live in not one you rent or use for business.

this is a beautiful piece of land! I'd rather be in a village and in nature than in a congested city. I'm wondering if it's easy for foreigners to buy land/property in Ukraine? 🤔

Wow 3000! That's crazy and such a beautiful land, so lovely! I live in Bavaria, south Germany and this property would cost like 1.000.000€ here or even more... The prices have been insane the past years. These days, if you don't get a house passed on or get rich like crazy, you can never afford one... In other parts of Germany, especially the east, it's a little bit better

Komm zu uns nach Thüringen, hier lohnt noch kaufen statt mieten :D Bon selbst aus BW zurückgezogen, da dort Immobilien viel zu teuer sind.

If you two want to own that place, you might consider starting a go fund me or something similar. Given you have an international audience, raising a few thousand USD shouldn't be too difficult. Awesome place, I would be proud to own it and fix it up.

Hi Pavlo and Liuba! That house and land located in a similar country location and condition in upstate New York state far away from NYC would cost about $100,000. However, it would have plumbing and toilet in the house. I hope you guys can buy it. Good luck!

I loved seeing this house and property, Pavlo! The land is beautiful but it is too far out in the country for me. It has lots of potential though!

My question is are there many of these deals available that only need a goo coat of paint & a good cleaning under &10,00 American dollars? Would appreciate an answer! @@sitka49 That's true. I would be more satisfied to buy in Lithuania anyway because it's my ancestral homeland (great grandfather came to the US from there in 1912) and it's a place I would love to spend time in occasionally. Ukraine is beautiful though and I hope for a good outcome from what is happening now.

I would buy it with cash, even now, and fix it up. If there is an Orthodox Church nearby and some way to have internet access, I could live & work there all year. Your family would always be welcome to visit any time! They could teach us so much. $4000 here in the USA would buy one tree on my current property.
