Number One! The place was super cute but the fenced yard sold me. I have dogs and to open your back door and let them out is so convenient. When your in a hurry and still have to take your dog out on a leach...sucks! Good luck and I can’t wait to follow you on your new journey!

My boyfriend and I were supposed to move to Austin then he got transferred over here to North Carolina! We're absolutely going back to Austin the second his contract is up. That city is THE BEST. There is no other city that compares to Austin. The young night life, the nature scene, all the water falls and lakes to go to, the mountains and offroading. SO MUCH FUN.

The cutest and most professional/original 'house hunters' video! I think #1 seems more suitable for both of you and your likes. You could really see the differences between places when you guys both talked about them; #1 had you guys smiling the entire time and you could definitely feel the excitement. Also, y’all should check out stuff close to Sunset Valley! It’s close enough to the city but also far away enough that you feel like you can get away and be “home”... there’s some apartments that are really close to a portion of the greenbelt and have trails that run through them. And they’re also really close (like walking distance) to Whole Foods, Target, yoga studios, golds gym, etc.

#1 definitely. The fenced in yard and kitchen sold me! Since it is on the first level that will be so nice to let your pup out easily out your back door! Rather than putting them on a leash, walking outside, and then bringing them back in. It is super nice to have that fence option!

If #2 are The Santal Apartments, i’d say those!! I have friends who live there and they LOVE it. You’d be close to Barton Creek and Lady Bird hike and bike trail. It’s not too far from the downtown area and yes THE VIEWS are amazing 😍

Apartment #1! From experience it's so so nice having a yard to let your dog out. I lived in an apt without a yard for a year with my pip and it made potty training a little difficult. Plus there are trails near by?! Whats not to love?

Definitely #1! The fenced in yard will be SO key for the new pup. Also, I know you and Andrew like to go on walks so all those trails will be super convenient especially with the pup! I live in Austin and having people who love dogs and outdoors is a huge plus!! So many trails in northern Austin and it's close to the Domain which has every store you would need and if you decide to hit down town, nothing a toll road can't do! I think space #1 is great! I have something similar and love being able to sit outside in my hammock with my dog near me😍🙌🏽

This was such a cute idea! I think it’s a toss up between #1 and #2! Yes #2 is at the top of the budget but it was the most modern and you may save money on gym memberships since the gym there is so good. The con is living further away from the city and still not even having a yard or nature in your immediate vicinity. #1 is not as modern but definitely still up to date w a yard and closer to a city but only has an ok gym so you’d probably still be spending extra on a better one. I guess it depends on how important proximity to the city plus easy nature access is to you!

My favorites are #2 and #3. I loved the modernity of the second apartment. The views are gorgeous and the pool and fitness area are super nice! I like option number three as well because there is a more cozy feel and the apartment seemed to have more character. Another plus of that complex is that there's a dog park. I really think all of the options are great, but it depends on what kind of atmosphere you want! Loved this video btw :)

Definitely #1. It is the nicest of the three, the kitchen design is my favorite (I prefer dark cabinets), and if you're going to have a dog it's probably better to have a space where you can let your dog outside. Only downside to being on a first floor unit is people can see inside if your blinds are up so privacy may not always be there depending on how you decorate. Hope this helps! :)

Both you and your fur baby have that space to lounge outside together! And I think the lighting is much better! Adding carpets to a room with hardwood floors is a great idea! Knowing you and the foodie you are, the closer to the city the better! Especially being new and exploring with your boo! Try to get a yard! I got a puppy living on the 8th floor 😬😬😬 its rough! The surburban retreat seems like it would fit your’s and Andrew’s needs SO well! ALSO, as a new dog owner in a condo, the little yard is such an amazing amenity ! To take your dog out on a leash every. single. time. they have to go out (especially while potty training) is such a pain! Regardless of which one you guys choose, I highly suggest bell training the pup as it helps SO much without unnecessary barking!😊 best of luck to you guys!!
