The summer is the rainy season and the most lush. “the season” as you call it, is the dry season - Feb and Mar are the most parched.

Have you checked out Bucerias? I'll be moving there this December. I chose to purchase there as it is quieter and more laid back than PV. Also, it's walking distance to everything. No need to own a car. That's a plus for me!

@palmspringsrealtors If my goal was purely investment as, in an Airbnb, I would prob choose the Romantic Zone. Conchas China's, Mismaloya or other points south are not as covenant for vacationers. However, If my goal was for a retirement home, especially one in a quieter, more traditional Mexican non-party environment (and still on the beach) Bucerias has PV beat. Also the beach in Bucerias comprises about 5 miles of pure sand, unlike PV's mostly rocky shoreline. Hope this encourages you to visit Bucerias

Unless you're near chedraui there's no grocery store, very few banks, and no shopping mall/movies. Bucerias is great especially the beach but has very limited options things to do.

I have been to Mismayola, nice resort town. Nice people. Night of the Iguana was filmed next to the beach. I went prior to the gang crime problems along the Gold Coast.

Curious about HOAs and/or other monthly fees.

HOA fees are very affordable. They run anywhere from $60- $600 a month. The older buildings have the more affordable dues. I would say that the average was around $250. Most of those dues cover the outside maintenance, building electricity and landscape along with pool maintenance if there is one. Thanks for watching.
