I’m from Annapolis Maryland USA 🇺🇸… my mother’s parents were born in Italy Nonni was from Calabria and papa was from Rome… I’ve never been to Italy one day my sister and I would love to visit the countryside. Positano is absolutely breathtaking. I’ve had two knee replacements, so I’m not sure if I could do the steps, but I’d love to try.

Italy is fantastic! Beautiful places Beautiful people regardless of other problems or politics. The first house was superb but yes too isolated. Having a B&B is lovely but much work. Unless you have staff. I for one would be a customer if alas it happens sooner than later. I love being a part of your subscriber group. It gives me such pleasure. I recently lost my husband and though we do not know each other your videos give me a sense of peace and happiness. What a wonderful video. Been to Tuscany 13 years ago and loved every village I visited. The open produce market is amazing wish we had something like that where I live. We have a farmers market but it is managed like a grocery store without a roof. It is very commercialized. Love the way you can take dogs into most restaurants and shops. Life in Italy seems more friendly. Carlo keep speaking Italian and keep talking to everyone. The basket merchant was so engaging, loved that part.

I wouldn't want to start one myself though, so much work unless you can afford staff. Cleaning rooms & bathrooms, changing beds, getting up early to cook breakfast, making meals in evening if that's included, shopping for food, doing administration.
