An avid Australian follower. My favourite vlog today Fern , I adore your property searches as it's wonderful to see the small French villages. We love France but are more drawn to the northern regions . My husband never watches utube but he watched this one. We are very interested in real estate, renovating and live in a charming little village in country Victoria in the south of Australia. More property searches please please .

It is interesting to a hear the perspective of this family. I am from the Pacific Coast of the U.S., and have been going this area for several years. I love it, and have a completely different opinion. My only beef is that it is very hot in the summer !

Lovely villages! These have my vote! A little extra driving is worth the peace and solitude of the smaller villages......you can really chill on the weekends and still tour around! Dinner with your friends looked amazing! Great day! Cheers!

Speaking of safety and accidents; Driving to St. Tropez from St. Remy through the mountains was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. The road is barely big enough and trucks come barreling around corners right at you on an almost single lane... My heart was racing and i actually had to pull over at one point and calm down. I guess you are suppose to honk your horn before the corner to make yourself known. 😮 When i asked about it at our destination they said oh ya, accidents happen all the time! Omg.

Love these French towns and villages ,you take us through on your journeys. How wonderful, Nancy and Seth speak French fluently. How French and other languages were my favourite subjects taught many years ago at School, and how I wish now I was fluent in French. Your dinner with friends looked amazing, love lamb with rosemary and garlic. You are quite a pair of excellent cooks Fern. Thank you as always for sharing.

What lovely little villages! My favorite was Cabris! Although, like you said, wouldn't rule others out. Sometimes it's worth moving a bit out of the busy city for the peace and serenity of the country, and, 10 miles is really not very far! Looking forward to following along on your house hunting adventures! Dinner looked amazing!! Was that a leg of lamb? Whatever it was, looked soooo yummy!

The kids of young age are like a sponge, they would learn a foreign language in no time. Yes, it would have been a few tears, but it would have pass. And you have two very intelligent kids! But there is no point of regrets, look forward not backwards, darlings! What I learned from our own experience, even if it is a little cheaper, you do not want to be isolated either, and yes, driving can get tiring after a certain age, not that you are there yet!😘 I loved it when you said " and there is a church " and right in that moment the bells started chiming!!!😂 Lovely vlog, dear Fern and Ryan!!! I keep my fingers crossed that you will get where you want to be soon!🤞🙏🥰

Good afternoon, Good to see sleepy handsome Seth in your opener. He has great hair! Your tour of the quiet villages was interesting. The narrow streets & solid stone construction of t buildings certainly spawned the invention of little automobiles 🚗 🚗🚗. (Citron, Renault, Peugeot,Bugatti, Alpine). That will take some getting used to!BTW our weather has taken a return to warm winter temperatures.highs up to 13°C in the next week .The snow is melting & the streets are getting dry.Wonder if many people leave to the tropics & points beyond from those little villages in winter. They were certainly quite.Such a lot of time & energy to find that next home.Seems you are up for the challenge. That's good.Let's hope you see it very soon. It's wait up for you.Need to make a birthday 🎂 today so must go.Holley's 🍽️ 🍽️ 🍽️🍽️🍽️🍽️ looked yummy. Thanks for the tour.❤❤❤❤.

Yes, I also sense that house prices might be affected. Shops (in the UK) continue to close down. It is really sad. The world is changing. We read in the newspapers about more job losses. Thank you for the very interesting video. Much appreciated.

Fern, just a little advice as I know the area you’ve just visited, and have had teenagers…. That far out you’d be a constant taxi driver for them and their expanding social life plus sports activities etc. But right now despite everyone’s always maintained Riviera prices will never drop, just now they actually are . So that’s positive for you. You’ll get there in the end! BTW do you know Leboncoin? Good place to property search.

A positive sign, is that the shutters are open, suggesting that people do actually live there. You could go to the town hall and find out info about amenities and age of the population. However, against all that, an hour there and back each day with two children in their early teens, they may find it really tough.
