I'm currently watching the 1st season. Why didn't I started this show before? It's amazing, I'm loving it :D When it came out in 2005 I was 10 years old and too scared of the blood and surgical operations scenes, now I'm watching it with different eyes and totally enjoying the storyline. Same here. My dad watched it when I was 10, but I was also too scared to watch it because of the blood. Now, I am 19 and currently started watching it and I love this show. :)

I also found it later when I was 20 as I would have been 4 when it started. Now only have a few episodes left of the 8th season. I used to be squeamish when I was younger but grew out of that (dissections in biology helped). House is part of the reason why I'm now studying medical physics. I love the show so much!
