Oh Zoe, that was....... so intense. House of Black is so complex and full of potential headcanons and it just lives in our minds and gosh things like this vid come out of it and I'm always shook. Shook of how convincing this story is, all the manips, all the characters! And even if my mind is set with Keira as Andromeda, I can totally see why Jessica is another genius choice, her scenes are very fitting it just screams Dromeda!

I always feel so sorry for Regulus and Narcissa. One died desperate, terrified and alone because he believed that his brother hated him and knew that the rest of his family would never forgive him if they knew what he was doing. The other was forced to watch as her entire family fell apart into madness, death and destruction until only she, her son, her sister and her sisters grandson were the only ones still alive.

Even the manips don’t look like manips, I just know the movies/shows, that’s how I spot the difference and that manip of Bellatrix being in Azkaban and her mark... I got goosebumps

I can't even BEGIN to explain how impressed I am by the editing and the pulling of scenes together that aren't just random because they fit but have so much meaning to the overall message and story of the video. I am so emotional by the parts with Andromeda and her sisters most of all. And Regulus and... omg. You told an entire story in the length of only 4 minutes, 10 seconds flawlessly. Literally sending this to everyone. Tastefully done! I've always believed that the members of the Black family (alongside Draco Malfoy, Hermione Granger and the Weasley Twins) hold boundless potential for deeper characterization and mobility in the Potterverse. This video totally does justice to the complexity that encompasses the Black family dynamics in the glimpse that it provides. Really well done! (and kudos on the casting choices - very fitting!)

From the comment section i think its safe to say that im not the only one who ABSOLUTELY LOVED this video, and how can we not? your videos always always ALWAYS move me, either from happiness, sadness, a mix of the two or just an array of different emotions im not able to identify right now, and this video is not an exception. i love how you centered on the blacks sisters and brothers and how they defied the norm in the family. also i had to re watch this a couple times before i realized some scenes were made by you and not extracts from movies/series because of how REAL they looked, specially at 2:14, 2:33 and 2:59 (besides that transition at 3:54 was sooo smooth and good that i actually paused for a second thinking that i remembered wrong helena was bellatrix on the movies and not kate). the voice overs and music were the cherry on top on this masterpiece and i just cant wait to see what you have in store for the next videos cause i KNOW im gonna love every and each one of them more than the last. thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me fall in love with this story and characters time and time again with your videos. xxx

Somehow, watching your videos I have stopped wishing for a movie or a series about the Marauders and the era before the Golden Trio, because in comparison to your masterpieces it would be just a disappointment I am sure of it. You capture the essence of their time and the characters so well I have a hard time believing it is fanmade.

I love this so much, I am speechless❤️❤️ so many headcanons. Now, I have to say that I also believe Andromeda had to choose against her will and her double life with Ted snowballed against her. She chose love because she did love Ted, but it wasn't this great romantic gesture; she wouldn't be welcomed back in pureblood society as Bellatrix clearly tells her (in my head, she is the one to wipe her from the tapestry) and staying with someone she already loves would be the least sacrificing thing to do for her, we see her as her most Slytherin, believe it or not. I never pictured her as fully happy between the Muggles that must have composed Ted and Tonks's world (the name she gave her daughter, how Tonks says her mother is a neat freak who does everything magically prob because she grew up as a magical child with house-elves, how haughty she was to Harry and didn't apologize for looking like Bella) and I think she stood by her family in a way that Sirius never did. Also, I agree with the fact that Narcissa knew about Ted but thought it would pass (ice cold princess) but it definitely devastated Bellatrix and probably fed her pureblood mania even more. In her eyes, a muggle stole her sister. The part with the little girl, also BRILLIANT. I always thought that Bellatrix must have run into Tonks before she became an auror and it's so painful to imagine how at some point Andromeda battled her sister for her daughter's life. The line you chose, considering what happened in the series is heartbreaking. AND THE REGULUS PART SHOULD BE A SHOW OF ITS OWN. I APPROVE YOUR FANCAST SO MUCH. Narcissa is always the hardest to cast, how to convey almost veela-like beauty without turning her into an innocent Elle Fanning type? I find Ester Expósito from Spain's Elite a really good choice.
