I swear if Sarah pulls another switch on us with the main love interest I will actually die this time haha! I love Hunt so much it shocked me, and I feel like him and Bryce HAVE to be endgame. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

I finished it last night and goodness... I'm not okay. The last 200 pages had me on the edge of my seat, I was anxious and just so immersed in these characters struggles? Maas really knows how to make you root for her characters. Also, I'd completely forgotten about the blurb and what happens to Danika. So I was not okay x) One thing I feel makes this book adult as well is the stakes? Everything felt much higher than any of ther other work? Like ACOWAR, we all felt the fallout was not as it should have been? She didn't take it maybe where she should have? (Without spoiling, but the consequences from the synth deal for example? That broke me.) The social commentary I felt was so point as well? Can you tell I need to speak about this book to someone? No one irl has read it, I feel alone XD

I’m a huge fan of SJM, not of urban paranormal fantasy. I wanted to try this out anyways and I’m so HYPED. At first, I found it hard to get into this story because of the slow pacing and the huuuge amount of details, of world building. It took almost 300 pages before I really got into it. But then OMG THE FEELS. It’s worth it!!! The 300 remaining pages got me on edge so badly. I cried. A lot. It kinda felt like KoA in the sense that everything just kept on building and building and building and it had a lot of turnarounds. I loooove slow burn hate to love relationship. I’m also on the fence regarding Hunt and Bryce, exactly for the same reasons you mentioned 😅 but I think they might be endgame, because they went through so much and they remind me of Aelin and Rowan: they complete each other and need/help the other also and I feel that Bryce and Hunt got the same vibes. Soooo, I’m hoping that they are endgame.

Great review!! I am a huge fan of SJM. I still have not tried the TOG series yet. I have started HoEaB I'm only 60 pages in. I will admit I'm having a hard time with focus it feels "hard" to read or get into....did you feel like that in the beginning? If so I will keep going. Maybe it's my mood and now not my time to read it. 📚 I know without a doubt its epic!

Veronica Thomas i’m a huge fan of SJM also and it’s true that the beginning of this book was very, very slow. BUT, I really suggest you pull this through, because when you finally get inti the story OMG THE FEELS. It’s worth it!!! The 300 remaining pages got me on edge so badly.

I’m actually happy that when you said that she could be with another guy “or girl”. But we all know the diversity of her books will not pull that one. Shocker if she did! Hahaha! I’m actually intrigued about this book, because you have read all her other books and have the edge/legitimacy/right on comparing all her series. 😊

SPOILER: okay so my favorite character funny enough was Lehabah so when she died I was sooooooo upset. Like she was so sweet and had that batty eyed sort of vibe just soo cute. And the way she went out I sobbbbbbbed. Ugly cried even. She did such a good job with her death even though I'm still salty about it still.

It doesn't have "800" pages. It has 799! I really thought that was funny when I bought the book. I'm a third into the book so far, and I started it last night. I'm trying to finish it ASAP because I have a bet with my friends. It's a good way to pass time with the quarantine. I'm truly in love with the book so far and it makes me sit on the edge of my seat. It just captures you and holds you with the relationships and different concepts of fantasy used within the story.

I've just finished this book and I also loved it, i read it non stop for two days! I loved Bryce's character, she was the perfect mix between Aelin and Feyre like you said! I loved all the characters, Ruhn, Lele, Fury etc - but I didn't LOVE Hunt!! I feel like I'm the only one.... SPOILERS- I liked his scenes with Bryce but as soon as that twist on the barge, I struggled to warm to him again! He just didn't seem worthy of Bryce??? I don't know it's weird - but I love the book I can't wait for the next part!
