House of Hook TNT on 29's!!!

The first thursday of each month Carolina Dragway has the TNT on 29's event. Small pot for the local racers. This is footage from the October 8th TNT on 29's night.

these people ARE building some fine machines. quality stuff. i have raced over 50 years on full quarter mile tracks and just cannot get into this 1/8th mile stuff. eventually i guess i will adapt.

Well, that was pretty much a one car show. Like most of the events The Shadow shows up at tbf. Those screwblowers are just evil. That car is not just extremely fast it's also extremely consistent and the consistency is one of the most impressive things about that car imo. Even when you have the baddest grudge race car in the world you still need a badass driver that can get the very best out of that car. Stevie Fast is that guy.

This was a test & tune as the caption stated. Carolina Dragway "HOUSE of HOOK" has more world champions and record setting people there on an average then anywhere else. This was just what went on every Thursday and Saturday. You run whoever was in the other lane. They all run 29s so they kinda practiced together. The crowd got their money's worth for sure. Guys paid $10 and the ladies paid $5. Just something to do besides sitting at home.

This is just a test and tune session as the caption said. They did this every Thursday and Saturday pretty much back then. Not a race !! Just testing and tuning run who's in the other lane. This is our home track. Tony Bynes was working on Choppa. That's why you don't see him. But this is just everyday stuff to us guys. Have a great Christmas👍
