Helena isn't weird. she's a DREAMER. She has prophetic "dragon" dreams. She tells them EVERYTHING thats about to happen, but no one listens. Helena's predictions thus far: 1. Aemond wanted a dragon, Helena predicted. he'll have to close an eye first" 2. Rhaynes bursts through the floor during Aegons' coronation riding Meles. Helena had told them a few days prior that there was " a beast benath the boards" 3. While Aegon is talking to Helena in her bedroom, she says she's afraid of "the rats" and looks at the babys crib. Blood and cheese happens a few days later. She's the sane one. it's the rest of them who are crazy. Her reaction when Cheese asked which kid was the son - she ALREADY KNEW what would happen. She already saw this movie and knew how it ended. She also knew that if she lied, they would all be killed, so she did what she could and saved her daughter. 😢

On the twins you're spot on Adison. What the shows (both GOT and HOTD) don't really do a good job of, but the books do, is emphasize how much KINSLAYING is considered a terrible act and one the gods punish with their wrath. I think Ser Erryk really felt that after killing his brother (even if to protect Rhaenyra) and he couldn't live with himself after that. A few things that are considered abominations in this world: - Kingslaying - Kinslaying - Breaking Guest Right - If a Lord/Lady has shared food and drink to guests under his/her roof, it is assumed the guests are under their protection and safe from harm from the host and his/her people. - Harming Envoys/Messengers - if a person is sent as a messenger then he/she is allowed safe passage. If the sender or receiver of said messenger is playing foul and treacherous, they are in the wrong and justice will be sought. Same for parleys during times of war.

There's something fun about watching 3 fans who have no idea what is coming. Their predictions are so far off, as well as their reads on characters are so off. Y'all don't know what's coming for that characters in seasons 3 and 4, maybe even 5 or 6 (if they push it more). It's kind of funny to hear what you think is going to happen. Enjoy the "slow pace" (which it really hasn't been) while it lasts. The show is better when it's slow. You don't need big battles all the time. Every great season of GoT had just 1 great battle, and the rest were dialogue-driven. It's only when they pushed the pace and hoped the battles that the show fell apart and lost its center.

Kristen Cole and Alicent are also sleeping together in Rhayneras BED. Alicent was moved to Rhayneras old room after Viserys died, and Aegon was crowned. Nasty work! Its giving OBSESSED - both Kristen and Alicent are obsessed with Raynera. He HAS power, yet STILL has thus unreasonable hatred for Rhaynera. He doesnt give a crap about Alicent. Those fools are busy hunching trying to get back at Rhaynera. The hypocrisy of it all is what makes them the real villains even though they are ALL awful people, except for Helena. Aegon isnt a bad dude either, just abused and neglected by Viserys and Alicent.

Otto manipulated alicent since she was a child to get his family on the iron throne..the shit backfired because those kids are still targaryens and have the blood of the dragon which he can’t control like he did his daughter. 😊

I disagree with you on Haelena. She wasn't weak for chosing one child, because she now has to live with the pain, the grief, the guilt and the shame for the rest of her life and that requires strength. Letting them kill all of them would've been the easy way out to avoid that emotional hell. This way, she saved at least one kid's life by making a decision that didn't really matter anyway. It was a 50:50 chance if they believed her or not so they might've just flipped a coin to begin with. Her pointing the finger didn't change what they were going to do anyway, it just gave her a way out and the chance to save at least one of them PLUS she has to live with that now. Never call her weak for that.

the team black vs team green predicament isn't a matter of morality - because It's evident that both teams lack it in one way or another. It's a matter of Andal culture vs Targaryen exceptionalism. The absolutism of a kings word vs male primogeniture. The collective satisfaction of adhering to tradition vs the upheaval of tradition in order to challenge the status quo. once you figure out that the standpoint of each aforementioned dilemma is valid in equal measure - you recognize that it was all the choosing that lead to destruction (I'm still Team Rhaenyra though)

Daemon doesn't respect anybody, he thinks he's right over everyone else and does what he wants regardless of the consequences. Visery knew that and kinda used Otto to repel him cause he couldn't do it himself. Daemon needed to hear that and be put back in his place. He's acting like Catelyn and Cersei, driven by emotion and pettiness. Criston threw that twin under the bus to save himself. He went on that suicide mission without arguing too much because he knew Criston was tight with Alicent and Aegon, so he could not win against him and would be blamed too and suffer a horrible death. Otto like Daemon would never turn against their families, but they will go on their own side missions to help. Criston is basically the stepdad at this point, the kids look up to him. I suspect that Helaena went to her mom's room because she knew Criston would be there and she'd be safe. That's why she wasn't shocked by seeing them in bed.

Ehh personally I think she wasn’t shocked because she just witnessed her son being murdered and her mom sleeping with someone is priority #465 at that moment. Plus I don’t think she’d even care really in the first place.

This was a Filler Episode. I'm waiting for Rhaenyra to do something other than hiding at DragonStone (not on the Throne...) and calling herself Queen 👸. (She a she's sitting Duck. Where are her warriors she still sending kids on missions)😅

She’s still sending the kids because they’re the only dragon riders she has other than daemon (who’s uncontrollable) and rhaenys who has been patrolling as well. But her game plan is similar to Otto’s in the sense that they’re establishing and gathering their allies first before marching into battle. It’s smart but yeah she better switch it up soon because regardless war is unravelling and Daemon sped it up lol

@melaniaperaamo7814 there not warriors, experience fighters or have battle experience. That's what happened to her last son do what people without Dragons do or at least send them with guards but it looks like she doesn't have guards so...🤷‍♂️

Lucery's was sent as an envoy, not a warrior. besides, It's the royal norm to foster diplomacy in one's children? she wasn't wrong to send him off as a representative of the crown! that's much preferable than sending some random schmuck to potential allies. and this wasn't a filler episode... it was a character-focused one. she's a grieving mother whose trying her best to avoid a destructive war because she KNOWS that a war with Dragon's is a detrimental one. she doesn't WANT to fight her family
