At the end of Episode 2 Corlys starts talking shit ab the king and his brother stood up for him saying "you will not talk like that about the king, only i will" that shows at the minimum he still respects his brother and im pretty sure he wouldn't of stood up for him like that if he wanted him dead.

Jody the mother wouldve died either way. When the arch maester says "save one or lose both" if they didnt act at all the baby and the mother wouldve died. If they did act, which they did, they couldve saved the baby(even thought they couldn't). But she was going to die either way, but they killed her for a chance for the baby to survive. There wasnt a choice that could be made. It was save the baby or do nothing and lose both. But i do agree with you in you saying the arch maester could be crooked and he could be the reason why the baby and the wife are dead.

I don’t think people are understanding that there was a chance that the wife could’ve survived. The maester explicitly says, “or leave it up to the gods”, meaning, we can either play it out and hope that neither the baby or your wife dies as a result, or ensure that the baby survives but killing your wife INTENTIONALLY in the process. Viceroys didn’t want to take a chance, that’s the point. Now, the chance of the wife surviving was slim albeit, but it existed, the maester acknowledged this.

The wife would have definitely died either way... the quote was "make the impossible choice... to SACRIFICE one or lose them both". Women don't survive that sort of thing w/o modern Healthcare. Leaving it to the gods just meant doing nothing & they both die. It would have been more peaceful for her but she still would have died

Correct! "Or leave it up to the gods" says everything! They could have just pulled the baby out from the feet and see what happens. They were trying to "turn" the child, not "deliver" the child.

The maester indeed said “choose one, or loose them both” “we have a chance to save the baby” “we have to do it now, we gave her enough milk of poppy that s gonna affect the child too” “she s fighting with all her might but that s not enough” They could leave it to the Gods, when viserys goes by her side she was almost in a coma, almost died. She didn t even know he was there at first. Also, they said she lost 5 kids already, she would ve died, and the baby. How many more clues do you guys need? Making the obvious sound wrong just for the sake of hating on Viserys. He already cut himself before the queen died. And the baby died because he was sick, meaning that Aemma had some sort of illness … also Daemon did say that line “ the hair for a day” because he didn t deny it FIRST, and SECOND, the scene in the wh*re house he begins with, “to the king s hair”. Facts are there, you just miss it. I enjoy that sht don t get me wrong, but everything was explained in detail

I think the reason why the king is marrying Alicent is that he thinks the hightowers are on his side, and little finger is an honorable, obidient hand.. Thus viserys thinks that mop head only goal is to sit his family into power

Jody is right about the breach, they worded that carefully, GEORGE worded that carefully. You are supposed to be suspicious of the Maesters. Show and book. People want to believe oh they couldn’t do anything about her, yet they didn’t even tell the woman. It was never her choice. She didn’t even deserve to know. They didn’t care. They could have tried it’s not always a fatality, it was just risky, and they didn’t want her taking that risk when it was probably a boy.

They said "all attempts to turn the babe has failed" the baby was stuck coming out the wrong way. Not just feet first it had to be something else crazy like shoulder first or something. And if the baby is stuck and they can't get him out then she will eventually die and the baby will die as well. I don't see what so hard to understand about that. At this point I think u guys are trolling 🤷🏿‍♂️
