Okay I have to say this but think about it ... Aemond is no more true born Targaryen then Luke... they are half Hightowers not true Targaryens and half Hightower is worse then half strong. Alicent and Rhaenyras kids have the same amount of Targaryen in them. The claim for the iron throne should end there the whole realm should see the Hightowers married in to become powerful dragon riders and then took out Viserys for the throne Rhaenyra is full Targaryen.. NONE OF THE HIGHTOWERS ARE TRUEBORN

We won’t see the Cannibal until late season 3, most likely season 4. The cannibal resided on dragon stone well before the days of Aegon the Conqueror. He was said to have lived on dragonstone before the Targaryens even got there, the common idea being he was a dragon bonded to a different dragon lord family that wouldn’t accept a different family riding him.

Isn’t Aemond just as much of a Targaryen as Rhaenyra’s kids tho? They all only have 1 Targaryen parent so why was Aemond pissed that bastards could bond with dragons better than him? Whether they’re bastards or not, Rhaenyra is still their real mom so they are still half Targaryen (just like Aemond). Can dragons sense when Targaryens are bastards? I thought they can bond with riders as long as they can sense Targaryen blood (whether pure or not)

Can I just say, that Daenerys’s dragons could not be the offspring of Dreamfyre. The fact that they are, seems to a popular theory? I don’t know why? Because Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion’s eggs came from the Shadowlands near the city of Asshai. Which is near Essos. Wild dragon eggs from centuries before are can be found there, however turned to stone over those many centuries.

The first rider usually picks a name for their dragon that hatched next to their crib. Some named their dragons after old Valyrian gods, like Syrax, while others were named after their features or any associations, like how a kid named his wolf Shaggydog.
