Your reaction to Ser Alfred is just what I mean when I say that the characters in HOTD are more nuanced than in GOT. Unlike, say, Joffrey or Cersei, who are just plain evil, you can start off hating someone in HOTD, and then come around to them, or at least see the conflict in their character. That is why, in my opinion, HOTD is a more adult version of GOT. You don't need to be seeing battles ALL the time, instead you have to sit and listen to the dialogue. I haven't read the books, so I don't know where it's going (and don't want to). I'm just content to see it unfold week by week. Loved the reaction, as always, by the way!

Ned was named acting Hand because Joffrey was a minor, although there have been plenty of minor kings. usually a REGENT is named to serve. often a relative in line for the throne.

Mr. Williams- Criston Cole is one of the best written characters in the history of television because you hate him so much. We hated Joffrey and Ramsay because of how evil they were. But Criston is just the most obnoxious, detestable douche bag to ever grace our televisions. He projects all of his insecurities and lack of honor unto other people. But at the same time, we have to give him props only for how great a fighter and warrior he is. We all hope he is going to die, but at the same time, he makes such good television for how much of a tool he is. It's really just a remarkable character!

Hey Mr. Boss Williams, the White Worm aka Mysaria I think will help Rhaenyra however she can. She knows the people in King’s Landing. I really like her character. I also liked Daemon, but right now he is getting on my nerves. Now he wants to be King. I guess that’s what he’s wanted all along to be the heir and not Rhaenyra. The gratuitous sex scenes are getting ridiculous. Like you said before, what did you do at work today. I don’t know what HBO is doing, but it’s like they are doing this just cause they can. Is it just me or does anyone else feel like the budget for House of the Dragon is a lot lower than GOT. Small crowds in Kings landing and when an army is shown at the castles it’s like 30 soldiers . If Daenerys was on House of the Dragon her Unsullied army would be 5 soldiers 😂

@@theunderdogmrwilliamsI think the CGI took the budget , so many small battles weren’t shown , and the lack of extras in the few battle scenes and crowd scenes is obvious. Think of how many large scale battles were in GOT with hundreds even thousands of extras . A good example in this episode we didn’t see Daemons dragon burn those soldiers but we would have and did see those scenes in GOT.
