As House of the Dragon season 2 nears, writer Sara Hess confirms that one character from the book will not have a big role in the show. The Game of Thrones spinoff series is based on the book Fire & Blood by George R. R. Martin, which chronicles the Targaryen civil war that rocked Westeros. The series stars Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, and Matt Smith. House of the Dragon season 2 will bring more characters as the turmoil slowly uncovers, including some big houses like the Starks needing to respond to their leader's call.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Hess confirmed that Sara Snow of Winterfell will not have as much screen time as expected since the POV is predominantly that of the Targaryens. The writer also stated they don’t have the eyes to be everywhere since they have so much content to cover
