Rhaenyra gave them grace. She actually considered their peace terms. Luke is murdered? All bets are off. You reap what you sow. People say Daemon wants war...he didn't. He knew this would happen. He tried warning his brother for years only to be seen as the problem he never was. Everyone else's words or concern came before Daemon's in Viserys' eyes. This NEVER would've happened had he been allowed to remain with Viserys. I one hundred percent blame Team Green, or, more importantly, Otto and Viserys, for this.

I don’t know why people say “you reap what you sow” when it comes to this particular story because it doesn’t really apply. Rhaenyra lost her son at the end of last season and she didn’t deserve it, she wasn’t reaping what she sowed.

Yes and no. You're mostly correct. But your assessment of Daemon is a bit off. Daemon is the modern-day equivalent of a bigoted elitest. He truly believes Targaryens are more important and just overall better than other mortals/people. He almost views Targaryens as god-like, and the rest a mere people. If you're not Targaryen, he doesn't believe you're his equal. And he has always been bloodthirsty. The series is portraying him with a bit more humanity, so we love him more than we should. He's honestly not a good person. But we still love him for some reason. Matt Smith was the best casting of the entire show.

In show in books there was no peace consideration after she miscarried her daughter and even more when she lost Luce if show change it that she still will want peace it will be stupid and their deaths didn't matter that much and Rhanyra was quick to anger in books here they of course changed her to kind of like Dany

This really is an interesting adaptation. The source material is written as a history book hundreds of years later with doubts about what really happened. That gives the show’s writers a lot of freedom to make their own canon. Plus even if they don’t alter what GRRM wrote at all, there is still a lot of room to expand on the story and characters.

But to your point her name came from the green propaganda to make her look bad in the peoples eyes. I could understand why people would find the black trailer more interesting - the focus on the green side is shifting to include the younger characters who we didn’t get much of in season 1 compared to characters on the black side. The characters I’m personally most looking forward to seeing more of in s2 are definitely Rhaenyra, Aegon, Alicent and Aemond.

How anyone could be Team Green is beyond me when we know sexism is what drives them (except Alicent who was stupid enough to believed the words of a delerious dying man). Plus, the one they want to put on the throne is a rapist and Otto was complicit in the child fighting rings. Instead of trying to end them when called out by Mysaria last season he decised to try and kill her instead. It is made clear the children of Rhaenyra are not the reason the Greens are usurping the throne but because she's a woman. Otto repeats over and over that 'the realm won't accept her because she's a woman.' Not one mention of her children being bastards as the cause. Had Rhaenyra not had children then Otto and the Greens would have simply said 'she's barren therefore unfit for the throne.' Otto's plan right from the beginning was for Rhaenyra to be named heir over Daemon so he could then marry Alicent to Viserys and then his future grandson to be named heir over Rhaenyra. What Otto didn’t count on was how steadfast Viserys would be in upholding Rhaenyra as heir. Did I mention the Greens' chosen candidate is a RAPIST? I also hate the end line of Rhaenyra 'I fear what I've begun.' Have the writers forgotten the Greens started the war by killing Lucerys - a messenger? They shot the messenger.

Easily team green. Aegon was one true heir,he is firstborn son of the King. Viserys had no right to replace him with Rhaynera. Like Otto said “Aegon is the one being robbed”. And who started this war ? Rhaynera and Daemin refused Aegon’s peace offer. they started the sea siege of King’s Landing and they planned to attack Harrenhall. They started this war.

Also the plotting behind queens back if whole small council, aemond killing luke and his dragon, taking a dragon funeral night, talking mad shit after taking a dragon on funeral night after doing it asking for a fight, Alicent being dumb enough to think he changed his mind on death bed after just fought with every last bit of strength to defend her and family from the knowingly trying to steal titles from them, Alicent giving foot shows while one is rubbed out to her family murdering friend, I can’t go on typing my fingers are tired.

Great reaction but comparing the first episodes of both shows is like trying to figure out what is better between 60’s special effects and IMAX movies… The budget for each of the first season episodes of HOTD was 20 millions dollars, the same amount of money spent for the two last seasons of Game of Thrones episodes… Game of Thrones episodes from season 1 was around 8 millions dollars per episode. The only one thing creators were able to guess about the first season hypothetical success was just the hype surrounding the show thanks to the readers of GG Martin books… HOTD benefits both readers and GoT fans trepidation…

Aegon, Halaena and Aemond are Targaryens As much as Baela , Rhaena, Jace , Luke. Yeah, they are influenced by Hightowers, but they are dragonriders , they have name. So it bothers me when people view them as less Targaryen than Rhaenyra or Daemons children

Have you read the book? If not, I’d be interested in what you think on this after season 2 if it follows the source. While you may think one side is right or wrong over the ‘who should be ruler’ dispute, I wouldn’t be so quick to declare one or the other as ‘evil’ - that’s a whole other story
