This song, this band, this is California. I may have been born with white skin but when I was a kid growing up in California skin color didn't seem to matter very much to me or the people that surrounded me. English and Spanish were so often stitched and mixed together that even if you didnt "speak" Spanish somehow we were all able to communicate without much trouble at all. Trust me it only takes a couple times of listening to your friends Mom yell them and whoever was playing with them for you to figure out exactly what she was saying. No matter what language they happened to speak at home. I miss the innocence and simplicity of those days. Brown, yellow, black, white, we played with who ever we happened to be friends with. What color they were was not a factor in deciding who we hung out with. I clearly remember my Father telling me that I was lucky to have so many friends with different roots because no restaurant in the world could honestly imitate the authenticity that is passed down within families. Thank you Los Lobos for creating music with that sound which never fails to take me back to those days for a few minutes everytime I hear it.

I closed my eyes and still I cried at this deeply haunting voice but it was just blissful to hear those tones again God is a lucky S.O.B to hear him singing daily!!

Please refrain from using God's name in vain. You can compliment Mr. Cash without having to refer to Him as a S.O.B!!

@@TimeFlyingBy1884 Please refrain from pushing your personal religious beliefs onto other people! Not everyone believes in your god or any god at that! YOURS is not the only religion and atm I "kindly" ask to keep yours to yourself and let others live their lives to THEIR ideals, not yours!

Such a beautiful voice! So finely tunned for a such a Barítono kind of voice. And of course, all the instruments are great too. Great cover!

My Dad is 68 and he said that this isn’t Johnny Cash’s voice, but a very, very, very, very good imitation of his voice, and He loves it, Johnny Cash lives on.

Stupid Shits… either way it’s Johnnys song. Plain and simple why do you always have to throw shit on everything beautiful. Now it’s your job to comb through KZbin and find every impersonating piece and do the same . Don’t forget to ask your dad. Hence in the title “ghost” of cash
