House On a Slope. Don`t Make These Mistakes

Beautiful - In my experience there are two potential negatives to living in a house on a slope above a street or other houses: 1. Noise will be reflected up off of pavement surfaces below. 2. Air pollution from neighbor’s fireplaces/wood stoves or vehicles will draft up hill and pollute the air you breathe.

May need to get your builder information. Planning on building outside of Austin on a slope piece of property that has a beautiful 50+ mile view overlooking the lakes and hill country. Can't wait.

Rent a hammering bobcat and chip away for footings, then build crawl space or basement with block. You can also step the footer to not dig too much!
