Man, you're a few steps ahead of me! I get invited then spend how ever long there is between the invite and party worried. I'll physically make myself sick because I have to go. The day of most times, I get up and decide not to go at all. I am working on it, but. It's so hard

Same. And this isn’t just for parties, this is for standard family get togethers or hanging with a friend. I don’t do much socializing because it’s not worth the stress it causes me.

I have this one friend. Shes not very outgoing. Shes shy and kinda demure. The first time we ever met in person we went out and had lunch. She was of course, rather quiet. Of course being the anxiety riddled autism engine, i assumed i had been too energetic and was upsetting her. When we got back to her house (we walked to the place) and we said goodbyes and stuff. We hugged and as i was leaving she asked me for a second hug and it almost made me cry from how happy i was that i wasnt upsetting her. I still think about that second hug even to this day. Ilu bug youre such a good friend

I only wanna socialize at a party for like 10 minutes. 15-20 if I’m obligated to show my face to people. Then I’m going home where I don’t need to wear shoes or pants

I haven’t been to a party in years but back when I did party, I would 100% drink before going. And if I’m honest, drinking or getting high was the only reason I would even be at a party. I’m clean/sober now so I isolate.

If the party is a hall, it's ok but if it's at someones house, it is uncomfortable asf. It's a bathroom issue for me. The more crowded, the worse I feel.
