Do you guys know? I have a very weird (or interesting depending on how you interpret it) story with this song. As we know, this song was created for the purpose of saying ONLY ONE THING: Gensokyo's survival is definitely at stake. Reimu and her friends were the only ones who can save their land from certain annihilation. Now... _what if I told you that..._ One day in May 2017, I had an exam at my school. But it wasn't like any other I've had before or since. I was in total risk of being expelled from high school, since I failed the same subject too many times (a variation of mathematics that would give me many problems for a year and a half), and that was the last chance to save me, if I passed, I could stay in school to graduate a year later, but if I failed... it would basically abruptly and horribly end my time as a student without any other way of trying to save myself, and above all, it would worsen or outright break the relationship with my parents and going straight to a dead end, I was basically betting my honor in front them. It must be said that I was studying for almost 5 months prior to that exam, improving little by little, until I had absolute confidence that I would be able to pass, remember, it was the last chance, the last "continue" with no more lives left. By May 5, 2017, all the nervousness had been replaced by sheer confidence. Then, that May 6th, 2017 (the same day Touhou 16's demo was released) on my way to school to take that test... this song played on my phone on "Random" mode. And it brought me back all the fear out of nowhere, like I finally realized how big of a problem I was in, basically having a "good ending" or a "bad ending" that would affect my whole life going forward depending on how good or bad I got on that test. I think I will never be more scared for my future in my life... In the end, I passed that exam. Spectacularly with an 86 (the previous 5 opportunities were all failed with a 35 or less), but I must say that of the 6 boys we presented, only 2 passed (including me), the other four... well... they were expelled from school. I won't ever forget that feeling, the hopelessness, the fear of having your future at stake, and without a doubt, the fear of having suddenly ended life as you knew it... And to this day, I still get goosebumps when I listen to this song... and i can bet Reimu, Marisa, Sanae and Reisen had it too...

With that story, i feel you a lot my friend… I have a similar story with my polytechnic school exams. My situation was not so critical as yours, but i was crawling the last 2 weeks trying to submit my practice CRITICALLY out of schedule and prepare for the exam at the same time.

I wanted to hear the remix of this one so damn much, I'm so glad it's amazing. This Touhou music became one of my favorites as soon as I heard it in LoLK. Thank you for the upload

After a few years I can finally remember about House set of ___ I was surprised to know that LoLK exist This is the best touhou album. And junko's theme makes it the best！！

+Mousy Saint I don't make the covers for the house sets. This track was released before the full house set and there was no official cover artwork for the album. Rather than wait for a cover to surface or find some artwork online, I decided to create a "fake cover" which mimics the designs that previous House Sets used.

+Noodles3996 Oh you meant the cover for the album. I thought you meant a music cover. As in doing a cover of this song in the style of a band or something. the fake album cover looks pretty good and natural. I never thought it was fake...
