The grouting is a no no..... The owner had the money but not the right workers to give it the all important finishing i.e painting(painted on the switches and tiles), grouting isn't aligned! This is a general problem in Ghana not just with this house! Kudos though!

Kitchens in this part of the world tend to be separated from the kther living spaces to accommodate the wonderful savory cuisines that are prepared away from everything. I know I prefer my entire home not smelling like what yummy African or Haitian dish that I prepare.
