Nice apartment but he seems to be an even better father. I never thought in my life I would see someone in the design world have a fridge full of colorful magnets and photos. Pretty refreshing, honestly.

Loved it for the same reason. It is such a nice home, great style, but the best part is: You can totally imagine the sofa in the hallway full of little backpacks and jackets and the Dad getting snacks ready for his son and his friends. Everything seems so relaxed and fun, yet so chic. So lived in, yet so stylish. Isn't that what we all want in our homes?

@@Jacline685yes! It’s actually realistic. And as mother of twin babies, I just loved to see how there little touches of his son throughout the house.

This place is cool! I love his personal style. It looks collected but not "stuffy". He blends old world pieces with modern ones in a very seamless way.

I like his ‘undecorated’ approach. He has beautiful things that somehow suit the space or seem to make sense, but it doesn’t look designed or curated in the usual design way (which I also enjoy). Even his outfit doesn’t make sense with the old school check vans, but it works because he wears it well.

Lovely home filled w/lots of sentimental pieces ..nothing cookie cutter - just a curation of handpicked items that appeal to his design aesthetic and tell a story of places visited...

What a beautiful home! When he said he worked for Jayson Home, I knew I’d love this place. I love getting home decor ideas from super creative people like this man. The eclectic aesthetic of bringing things in that you like and not worrying about having them match exactly and being able to move them around is what I enjoy, and this space perfectly encapsulates that. Thanks for letting us into your home.

Really enjoyed this tour with this pleasant, down to earth man. You can tell how much he loves his family, and I love how he lets his son be a part of the design choices, especially in his own bedroom.

So cool to get the very apartment that was coveted from seeing it in a movie. I liked all the art in the kitchen in lieu of wallpaper. There were many really nice pieces but most of the home didn’t really please my eye.

Very nice home! Totally enjoyed the tour with such a pleasant host. But oh my...cutting sofas in half to get them into the space!! Love that he persevered and did exactly that. However, also understand why they will remain in place for a long, long time.

This place has great bones and all the furniture has great bones too. I’d love to put up some burlap on the walls and some great drapes - for the soft parts that go with the bones.

If you are storing things in luggage, get some blank luggage labels from an office supply companay and write the contents on them. The labels lso make great gift tags for "brown paper parcels tied upw iht string".

Nice gentleman, pleasant comfortable apartment. His stature( he appears to be very tall) makes the furniture look smaller in places, which is comical in a happy way. Admitting his blunder twice with the sofas is pretty admirable.Nice big hallway. That pink farrow and ball paint in bedroom looks good , it seems to be super popular, in U.K. His son is ruling the roost there. 😅.

I come from another country but we were taught to treasure our heirloom and pass it along to family, the only one piece I was able to bring was my mother antique pendulum wall clock, my sister and I were able to bring also 2 pound of my mother favorite coffee inside the pendulum clock 😅

Put the books upright. Fill empty walls with kilims, temporary or permanent. Blank walls are painful to behold. Lots of temporary things can alleviate the pain.

The shoe should be placed higher over the commode in the living room. A bit over the lamp, just a bit. The placement of the parts are not perfect. It looks a bit stuffed.
@barbaralevine90487 ай бұрын
I disagree! The shoe is perfectly placed over the furniture. The lamp is wrong there. Maybe a floor lamp next to the piece if needs a light there.
