Absolutely gorgeous home! But as someone who grew up in a neighboring town, I have to laugh at your description of Bloomfield Hills as "quaint" - beautiful, and VERY wealthy, but not quaint. :). Still, it was so nice to see INTO one of the beautiful homes we used to spend Sunday afternoons driving by. You definitely have a classy and elegant style! :)

I'm not normally such a stickler for pronunciation, but I hope this is helpful because in this case, the small sound difference changes the meaning... Son=Fils ("feese" like geese); Daughter=Fille ("fee"). Quotes are "sounds like" approximations.

First off, this video is really well done and thought out. Second, I love your choices for your home and your style. Third, you have a lot of knowledge and expertise to share so ignore all the mean girls commenting about umm’s or any other jealous comments. I never understand why women do this. If you are jealous it’s not a healthy or good look. Fourth and final, I would not hesitate to hire you to create a home environment for me. I feel like your taste is so traditional with a really great twist of color and texture I could be hands off or participate and love the outcome either way. Thank you for putting yourself out there. I’m sure most of us appreciated it. 💚

Beautiful house, great taste of the owner, elegance and chic. I'm from Europe and here in the living room we usually place a low coffee table in front of the sofa or between the armchairs. Here I see something that looks like an upholstered bed or mattress. What is the idea behind such a piece of furniture in the middle? Is it also used to place a glass or cup on it after drinking a drink? Here the hostess sat on it, so it is also used for sitting. It's interesting because it's more comfortable to sit in a chair. Glasses are more stable on a wooden table, and if a drink is spilled, it is easy to wipe it up. Upholstery is more difficult to wash. But it's certainly more pleasant to pass by such soft furniture, because it is soft and pleasant to the touch, you can't hurt yourself with it, and you can put a tray under the glasses to avoid getting the material wet. Am I predicting correctly?
@lesfleurs97817 ай бұрын
It’s trendy to have a “table” like that, but very impractical like many trends tend to be.
@chantalhendriks5627 ай бұрын
Often people with small children will have a “soft” coffee table until the kids are old enough not to fall into it and get cuts, etc.

Stunning interior design. Some rooms are a bit sterile lacking the influence of family and present a bit like a showcase home. Why are the formal living room and dining room "gated" from the center hall? Baby-gates?
@Beachbum4715 ай бұрын
I enjoy the videos and typically adore the designs and creativity of all of the persons involved. I totally understand that none of them is a professional speaker. That having been said, I think that the designers or at least the producers just edit the content to eliminate the constant “umms”. Let the people having been filmed be permitted to do edits would probably be helpful. These people are indeed not professional speakers and may be nervous, allow some editing to happen please!!!!!!
@fishercourtАй бұрын
Yes, if she is a real professional interior designer, who mainly works with extremely wealthy clients, then I am surprised how she explained in a rude response that she was nervous. A real interior professional designer that is worthy of using for a renovation project, would have very clear and coherent speech, so by her mentioning that she was nervous as an excuse really shows her lack of real quality experience with dealing with clients. It’s a big deal to work with clients and part of the job is that you are able to speak well without using filler words. I learned from my college class that was specific with teachers, and any time we would use filler words we would get five points off per word. That’s how important it is in being a professional in any job. Hopefully she learned from this situation and it’s a learning process. Instead of her replying to comments in this section, she could have been more humble and not offended. So many people need to learn when to take criticism without being offended.
