I am totally inspired because there is minimal decor and NO clutter! I realized that it's probably staged for selling, but I can envision this as a wonderful way to live. I'm in a season of down-sizing, and this video was very helpful. Thank you. B

I recommend that you when you buy your boys new beds, you buy TwinXL. Your husband is tall, they probably will be too. I did that for my two boys and now that they are teens (and 6 foot tall) they appreciate it very much! Most good bedding stores sell twin xl and sheets/bedding are very easy to find too. Can't wait to see the new home.

I would assume it was NOT built for 2 living rooms, ,lol, but meant as a "formal" living room and then the other "fireplace" room is the family room. Decades ago that is how it was, as no one used the formal living room except when guest came over. That was a traditional floor plan to separate it out. Our house is the same way. Btw, if u want to be "high end" you can call the family room with the fireplace a 'HEARTH ROOM"... many do that, it implies you have so many rooms that the "hearth room" is where you spend time specifically around the fireplace, like snowy days with a brandy, holidays, etc... lol
