House Tour｜Ceramic Artist's House｜Living by Nature｜House with a view｜Japanese room tour

This is the home of ceramic artist Yuji Murakami, his wife Miwa, and their two children. Miwa was attracted to the open riverside landscape, so they built this new house and moved from an old house deep in the forest. The first floor is Murakami's studio, and the living room is on the second floor with a beautiful view. The interior, richly plastered and made of solid wood, is filled with numerous ceramic works and artworks, blending in with the daily life of the house.

This is one of the most beautiful homes I have seen. It is so very well designed and the artists use of elements are simple yet striking. What a happy and creative family living by the energy of the rushing river. Thank you kindly for filming. My two sons are master craftsmen and love sourcing beautiful rare woods. This is easily the most serene home I have ever seen. It's not trying to impress, it doesn't use expensive materials. It's focus is on functionality, simplicity and showing a well rounded way of living. I particularly like the kitchen island and crockery display cabinet. Beautiful and stylish. I feel its somewhere I would feel comfortable staying in
